We had the privilege of welcoming Ontario Minister of Long-Term Care Natalia Kusendova-Bashta, Brampton Deputy Mayor Harkirat Singh and Ontario Long Term Care Association CEO Donna Duncan to our Burton Manor Long-Term Care home. Their visit was a meaningful moment for the Primacare community and a special chance to celebrate our residents, who remind us every day that people focused = quality care.

At Primacare, every innovation in technology begins with one purpose: putting people first. When our teams have the right tools, they gain more time at the bedside allowing for greater presence, deeper connection, and more meaningful moments with our residents.

During the visit, we were proud to share the heart of our mission, including our Community Sandwich Program with Regeneration Team (Regeneration Outreach Community), our emotion-based dementia care philosophy Albert Journey — which reflects our unique person-centered approach — and the expanding role of AI and robotics in enhancing daily care.

Our gratitude goes to Globaldws for demonstrating their care-support robotics and to Social Know How for capturing the day with thoughtful storytelling and creative care. Above all, we thank our guests for spending time with our residents and experiencing the passion that drives everything we do at Primacare Living.

Honouring Our Heroes: Remembrance Day at Primacare Living Solutions

At Primacare Living Solutions, we paused to remember the brave men and women who sacrificed for our freedom.

Residents and team members joined together to create heartfelt tributes with handmade poppies, remembrance art, and displays celebrating veterans who proudly served our country.

Across our homes, we reflected, remembered, and gave thanks. Stories were shared, memories revisited, and the words “Lest We Forget” carried deep meaning as we paid tribute to those who gave everything for peace.

Every poppy, every smile, and every moment of reflection reminded us that people focused care is quality care. Honouring those who came before us is part of who we are.
