You are thinking about someone, and they happen to text or call you just that minute.

Your gas light comes on exactly when you see a sign for the next gas station along the highway.

You go to the store for a specific ingredient and the very item you are looking for just so happens to be on a major sale.

Your friend mentions they are looking for work, and the next day you see a “for-hire” sign in the window of a business that would be perfect for them.

Think back on the last time you encountered one of these happy coincidences… these sweet, serendipitous moments. How did it feel? What was that experience like?

Usually, when we experience a moment of serendipity, it feels really good! It feels like the universe is working in our favor. It reminds us that life really is full of pleasant surprises and wonderful gifts.

But much of the time, we don’t live as if those happy coincidences are to be expected. In fact, we usually expect the opposite. We expect things to go wrong. We expect to get unlucky. We expect unhappy accidents, not happy ones.

But what would it be like, if we lived our lives expecting things to go right? Expecting to get lucky? Expecting moments of beautiful serendipity?

Can you imagine how different your life might become, if you began to look for magic around every corner? Can you imagine how different you might feel if you trusted that life is full of happy coincidences and pleasant surprises?

Let’s all do our best today to believe that moments of luck, magic, and serendipity aren’t just possible… but are waiting around every corner.

As the year comes to an end, we are about to close the chapter on the impact of meditation on SARS-CoV-2 infection. As promised, I will tell the amazing story of what we’ve discovered, leaving you with a cliff hanger that will be revealed at the Week Long Advanced Retreat in January 2022. Over the last few months, I have been reporting on the Meditation-Covid survey results that many of you have participated in. The survey captured responses from ~3000 individuals representing 66 countries, and the results reveal some very unique characteristics about the Unlimited meditation community. Before I begin, it’s important to note that the community is ethnically diverse (six of the seven continents are represented—maybe plan a week-long in Antarctica?), and even in the face of many morbidities, the community has an overwhelming positive view of their health, as well as an unwavering commitment to their meditation practice.
