Retirement is a major milestone and understanding how your savings turn into income is key. If you’re retired, or are nearing retirement, a registered retirement income fund (RRIF) should be on your radar.

A RRIF is essentially your RRSP in reverse: instead of making contributions, you withdraw money each year to help fund your retirement. You can still choose how your money is invested from mutual funds to segregated funds, GIOs, ETFs and more.

in 1931, the Canada Life building in Toronto was completed. The building on University Avenue has not only been a symbol of strength and stability of Canada Life, but also signified hope at a time when uncertain economic conditions were sweeping the world at the time.
The Beaux-Arts style building was among the tallest in Toronto at the time, even before the inauguration of the famous weather beacon 20 years later.
The iconic building continues to be a Toronto landmark and a symbol of Canada Life’s enduring strength 95 years on!

Last week, we celebrated five years of Women in Sport at Canada Life Centre!

We teamed up on a $5,000 Women in Sport Scholarship to help grow its impact – supporting a woman who is pursuing post secondary education and making a positive change in sport and in her community.

Olympic Gold Medalist Desiree Scott joined us at our Hot Stove event sharing her story of mentorship and representation, before joining the puck drop at centre ice.

Fans filled our POWER PLAY wall with messages of encouragement and support – a wonderful reminder that when we lift others up, we all gain.

We’re committed to helping create greater visibility, equity and opportunity for women both on and off the ice, and in all areas of life.

In honour of , our Women in Leadership Employee Resource Group inspired us with a powerful conversation showcasing women’s leadership and gender partnership in action. Together, we learned that when we invest in women's growth, we all benefit. Thank you to Dr. Julie Cafley and the Catalyst team for the thoughtful moderation and collaboration that helped bring this conversation to life.

Becoming an empty nester doesn’t mean you no longer need life insurance. Even once the kids are grown, life insurance can still help support things like:

👉Mortgage protection
👉Your spouse
👉End‑of‑life expenses
👉Legacy building

Reviewing your policy with an advisor could help make sure your coverage aligns with your current goals as an empty nester and avoid overpaying for unnecessary coverage. https://ow.ly/Qig450YoBtB
