2) Stoolie is not finished with toxic finishes. All of the premium paints and stains used for finishing are plant- or water-based and are 100% VOC-free. Most commercial paints and stains contain VOCs, toxic fumes which are known to be carcinogenic.
3) Stoolie is not mass produced. It is made by hand in small batches by wood artisans using a traditional woodworking method called steam bending. 4)Stoolie is not made overseas. It is made by a small family-owned business in Northern Quebec. 5) Stoolie is not bulky and unattractive- compact and stylish, it complements any bathroom. Having a product locally made by hand from organic, biodegradable and sustainable materials costs more.
