On behalf of all of us at the Tony Stacey Centre we would like to wish our families, friends, and neighbours a healthy and happy Easter holiday. We are celebrating this weekend with a beautiful concert by Infinitely More and tasty treats from our favourite Bunny. Happy Easter everyone! 🐣 🌷🐰

The Rouge Butterfly Way is having a plant sale with some of the proceeds benefiting Tony Stacey Centre! Please see details below:

Plant pick-up will be in late May or early June 2022
The Rouge Butterfly Way is a volunteer-led project of the David Suzuki Foundation. All funds raised go toward community pollinator garden projects, creating healthy habitats for bees, butterflies, and other wildlife. Why are we having a sale?
This spring plant sale will help to increase the number of beneficial native plants within our community, and help to fund the two projects underway at Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate Institute and the Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care.
The plants in our spring sale have been carefully selected as garden-friendly plants that not only provide benefits for our native bees, butterflies, and other insects, but also enhance the appearance of your garden. Happy Pi Day everyone! Did you celebrate like we did? Lemon Meringue was the clear favourite, though the Cherry, Pumpkin, Blueberry, and Apple pies didn’t last long either! 🍋 🍒 🎃 🫐 🍎 🥧

The Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) is one way the government of Canada is delivering funding to communities through the Investing in Canada Plan. The Tony Stacey Centre is the lucky recipient of three such grants, the first one used to purchase two commercial washing machines for items that must be laundered in house. Stay tuned for details on our next project!

We received more festive flowers today for our residents to enjoy; this gorgeous arrangement was gifted to us by the CCRA, the Centennial Community Recreation Association, who has always been a great supporter of our Centre. Merry Christmas to you from your friends at TSC!
