Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario We are the Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. We provide medical, surgical, and emergency eye care to Ontario patients with a wide variety of eye problems.

The Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, a section of the Ontario Medical Association, represents more than 450 of Ontario’s ophthalmologists. Ophthalmologists are leaders of the eye care team with more than nine years of medical training. Ophthalmologists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases by providing comprehensive eye exams, prescribing corrective lenses and administering medications. Ophthalmologists are the only professionals that may perform eye surgery to help restore vision in patients. Ophthalmologists provide eye care to Ontario patients with cataract, glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration as well as wide variety of less common eye conditions. They are on call to Ontario hospitals every hour of every day to provide coverage for Ontarians suffering from eye trauma or other ocular emergencies. Ophthalmologists are dedicated to preserving and restoring the vision of Ontario residents.
