💖 We are excited to announce our 4000th delivery at Toronto Birth Centre. TBC is so proud to be able to host spaces for folks to birth in a way that feels good for them and their support people! Thank you to the family, Midwife Tamara from Seventh Generation Midwives Toronto, the BCA team, and all those who make TBC a culturally safer and more welcoming space for newborns and their families

Prenatal Classes by The Baby Project
Classes:
Preparation for Childbirth: Pre-labour signs, labour and post partum, what to expect, packing list, breastfeeding etc.

Baby care: what to expect from as soon as your baby is born including behavioural state of the newborn, safe sleep practice, how to know when to seek medical attention etc.
Infant CPR: *This is for educational purposes only and is NOT a certificate class

The Toronto Birth Centre would like to wish everyone a Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day! 🍓🪶
 
We celebrate and recognize the knowledge, traditions, strength, resiliency, and beauty of our Indigenous communities in Tkaronto but also across Turtle Island and include extremely diverse First Nation, Inuit and Métis Peoples.
 
June 21 is also the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and has great cultural significance to Indigenous Peoples. For many generations, Indigenous Peoples and communities across Turtle Island have held ceremonies to honour and celebrate their culture and heritage on or near this day.

To honour the day TBC will be tabling at Na-me-rez Pow-wow from 12-5pm! If you get a chance to go there, don’t hesitate to stop by and say hello to our kiosk.
