Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated. Special thanks to PQWCHC Black Health Collective who cooked, organized and made sure the event was amazing. Events like this remind us how powerful it is when community gathers around traditions and flavour.

For months, Bom Dia Café & Bakery has been the heart behind our daily breakfast program, providing delicious food and coffee to community members who needed a little extra care. This program wasn’t just about a meal; it was about connection. Each breakfast opened the door to vital supports like primary care, medical services, social programming, housing resources and a sense of belonging.
We are deeply grateful. 💛 Thank you for being a partner in building a stronger, more caring Parkdale!

From pop-up clinics and action to winter supply outreach and moments of care inside and outside the Mobile Health Clinic, click through to see what we’ve been up to this year!

🚐 Our wheels were turning with purpose to connect with community. We met people where they were, bringing personal care items, health screenings, education and clinical care. Delivering dignity and connection directly to those who needed it most.
A huge thank you to TELUS Health for fueling this vital work!

🎉 Big Congrats to Parkdale Village BIA and PQWCHC’s Aaron Woznica!

Last night at the TABIA Awards, Parkdale Village BIA, along with Aaron, took home the Well-Being & Safety Award for their incredible work on the West Lodge Garden Revitalization Project ✨.

We’re excited to celebrate Aaron’s work in capacity building for overdose response and his commitment to harm reduction with local businesses and across our community.

We’re hosting a series of Thursday sessions focused on Overdose Response:

Learn how to recognize an overdose, what to do in an emergency, naloxone administration and get free naloxone kits.

If you're neighbour, local business, friend, or community ally, learning how to respond to an overdose can help save lives.

And in the new year, we’ll resume with new training topics aimed at equipping community members with practical skills, harm reduction education and more.
