occurs when an has been repeatedly stressed by training to the point where rest is no longer adequate to allow for recovery.
🔥If sufficient rest is not included in a training program, then regeneration cannot occur and performance will actually plateau.
🔥If this imbalance between excess training and inadequate rest persists, then performance may even decline.
🔥Athletes and coaches may also describe this as “burnout” or “staleness” or as a result of going “too hard, too fast, too often.”

Why should you brush your teeth and floss daily? To prevent diseases and infections that could result in costly and time consuming consequences! Imagine how much your mouth and teeth go through every day? We're not teeth specialists but our neighbour teeth experts .smile
recommend brushing 2x daily for 2 minutes and flossing once daily (minimum 4-5/week)

Now imagine what your neck muscles go through on a daily basis. Muscles that are overworked will create tension and tense muscles like to pull. Your posture and joint will ultimately suffer. Just like the wonderful oral health habits you've created, you should integrate neck stretches and strengthening to your daily routine!
