MOST of the time at the factory, we’re making glasses happen with perfect frames to pop on your face. But sometimes, art happens! 👩‍🎨

Getting to see the bits and bobs that go wrong is all part of the process (and fun) when manufacturing locally. It also makes for the unintentional brag that we’re kinda, sorta, maybe, making art? Probably not, we’ll let you be the judge 😉

Just got this unbelievable story from Erik who lost his glasses at the beach and found them over a year later, still in tact! 🌊

“I lost my glasses, playing on the beach with my grandkids and could not find them even with the signal colours. Eventually I ordered new ones. OK! This was the summer 2019! Almost exactly one year later my wife went looking for pieces of amber on that very same beach and as she came back she had a funny expression on her face! Guess why? After one year these Dresdens had taken quite a beating and were sand blasted as all hell, but they never broke! And, as an old champion race horse, they get the rest they deserve at the shelf in my office!”

All that and we would STILL take those frames back under a cheeky warranty. But we reckon popping on the shelf in the office is a much better option 😉
