The Toronto Tenant Support Program (TTSP), funded by the City of Toronto, supports tenants via the Centre for Immigrant and Community Services (CICS). We offer culturally appropriate information on tenant rights and responsibilities, connect tenants to resources, provide legal support for rental disputes, and host educational workshops. Collaborating with community partners, we empower newcomer tenants to access legal services and resist bad-faith evictions.

Let's celebrate the vibrant spirit of Vaisakhi! As we embrace the rich cultural heritage of this auspicious occasion, we extend warm greetings to all our Sikh colleagues, clients and partners. Vaisakhi, also known as Baisakhi, marks the harvest festival and holds deep significance in Sikhism. It symbolizes new beginnings, abundance and the spirit of community.

At CICS, we honour this tradition by fostering unity, diversity and inclusivity. Just as the fields bloom with the promise of a bountiful harvest, we cultivate an environment where ideas flourish, innovation thrives, and collaboration flourishes.

As we embark on this journey of renewal and prosperity, let us rejoice in the spirit of Vaisakhi together. May this festive season bring joy, fulfillment and prosperity to all.

Happy Vaisakhi from all of us at CICS!
