Thermography Clinic Inc.

Thermography Clinic Inc. With many clinics across North and South America we are a leading medical thermography provider.

Our company began in 1999 as an integrative medical practice specializing in the care and treatment of women's health issues. We introduced Medical Infrared Thermography into the practice and soon learned that women and their health care providers were impressed with this technology and were soon insisting on greater access to this non-invasive imaging technique and the information it provides. We have since evolved into a major innovator in the medical infrared imaging industry. We are a privately held corporation based in Toronto, Ontario that has successfully combined our years of clinical knowledge with the expertise of a team of highly trained software engineers, medical doctors, educators, and technologists to bring to market two turn-key medical imaging systems. One specifically designed for Breast imaging, the other for Full Body Imaging. We continue to provide the highest quality Medical Infrared Thermography imaging in our Toronto offices and at other selected clinics,
whilst being committed to advancing the profession of clinical thermography across North America.

💡 Understanding the Scoring in Your Breast Thermography Report

If you’ve ever looked at your breast thermography report and wondered what the scores mean, you’re not alone. We’re here to help make it feel a little clearer — and a little less overwhelming.

Thermography uses a standardized scoring system based on 32 thermobiological signs to observe heat patterns and vascular (blood vessel) activity in the breasts. It helps identify patterns of change that may suggest increased risk and guide next steps for care.

This system, known as the Thermobiological Risk Scale (Marseille System), ranges from TH1 to TH5:

🔹 TH1–TH2: Low risk
These findings are "within normal limits" and indicate stable patterns at the time of imaging. Low risk doesn’t mean “nothing could ever develop,” but it does mean there are no significant thermobiological concerns right now. Regular monitoring helps keep you informed and confident over time.

🔹 TH3: Medium risk
This score suggests something to pay attention to, though it is not considered high risk. There may or may not be an underlying issue, and additional imaging — often a structural test such as ultrasound — is commonly recommended to gain more clarity and peace of mind.

🔹 TH4–TH5: High risk
These results show more significant changes and signal the importance of timely follow-up testing to better understand what’s happening.

✨ The key takeaway: Thermography is about awareness, not alarm. Your score isn’t fixed— it offers valuable insight to help you make informed, proactive choices for your breast health. Your breast health is very much within your control.

After your first thermography appointment, a phone consultation is available to help you understand your report and discuss next steps.
Additional phone support is available for follow-up appointments if needed. 💙

✨ Women Over 40: Exercise Is One of the BEST Tools for Estrogen Balance ✨

If you’re dealing with bloating, stubborn weight, mood swings, heavy periods, breast tenderness, or feeling “off” during perimenopause… it may be linked to estrogen dominance (very common after 40).

The good news? The right kind of exercise helps—A LOT. 💪

Here’s how movement supports hormonal balance as we grow older:

✔️ Helps your body clear excess estrogen through better liver & gut function
✔️ Reduces body fat, which produces estrogen after 40
✔️ Lowers stress & cortisol, protecting progesterone
✔️ Improves insulin sensitivity (huge for hormone balance)
✔️ Reduces inflammation tied to estrogen dominance
✔️ Boosts lymphatic flow so estrogen doesn’t get “recycled”
✔️ Improves mood, sleep & brain chemistry
✔️ Strengthens bones without needing high estrogen levels

⚠️ Important note: More exercise is NOT always better. Too much HIIT or long cardio sessions can actually worsen hormone symptoms by increasing stress hormones.

🌿 Best exercises after 40:
• Strength training 2–4x/week
• Walking daily
• Low-to-moderate cardio
• Yoga or mobility for stress support

Movement isn’t about punishment anymore — it’s about hormone support, longevity, and feeling like yourself again 💛

Perimenopause: Preparing for a Smooth Transition
Navigating perimenopause can be challenging, with a wide range of physical and emotional symptoms. Many women experience weight gain, mood swings, hot flashes, and sleep disturbances starting as early as their late 30s. Is this you?

Common Perimenopausal Symptoms:
- Menstrual Changes
- Hot Flashes
- Sleep Disturbances
- Reduced Libido
- Painful In*******se
- Cognitive Changes (Poor Concentration/Memory)
- Anxiety
- Breast Tenderness
- Dry Skin/Vagina

Finding Relief:
The goal is to alleviate symptoms and reduce the risk of long-term health issues. While synthetic hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is common, safer alternatives like bio-identical progesterone and estriol exist (available by prescription in some regions). It's crucial to discuss treatment options with your doctor.

Beyond HRT:
Many women seek natural approaches. These methods have a long history of safe use and can address underlying imbalances contributing to perimenopausal symptoms. These could include adrenal fatigue, thyroid issues, or gut microbiome imbalances. A thorough assessment is key to identifying the root cause and creating a personalized plan.

Seeking Professional Help:
Proper assessment from a healthcare professional is essential to determine the best course of action for you. They can help you navigate the various treatment options and develop a plan to manage your symptoms effectively. Remember, a smoother transition is possible with the right support and approach.
