After many days of walking through the streets of London and Split, I needed a massage during my travels. I got a Thai massage which was really helpful. My feet and back really needed it! If you're ever in Split, Croatia definitely check them out.

I finally had a Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage treatment. This was done by my friend and great RMT, Fiona. I'm not going to lie it was painful at times because I was pretty sore from my race this past weekend. Things I personally learned from it were:

1. that it's a full body treatment. Even though the focus was my abdominal area, my legs and back were treated as well.

2. Breathwork is a great part of it as it helps to ease the pain and get movement going.

3. Results are seen quickly as I can feel the areas are warmed, the look is tightened and even my clothes fit differently.

I would definitely take a course on this down the road.

The benefits include: reducing fluids, skin health promotion, detoxification and increased circulation.
