Voices Global is looking for youth participants to sign up to the “Beyond the Trauma” After School Program. The dates of each event are the following: November 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th.

Youth will engage in developmental conversation and activities that will benefit their development of interpersonal skills, help them understand mental health and learn the importance of child rights and responsibilities.

With the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, youth are facing more problems with their mental health, which is often not properly addressed in the education system, creating confusion and worsening their mental health status.

Many of these mental health illnesses are a result of childhood trauma/abuse, and prolonged social isolation and loneliness that may have arisen from the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns. This project seeks to address the barriers faced by youth that are affecting their ability to cope and heal from their own individual mental health disorders by giving them access to resources and opportunities which will facilitate and enable a safe environment for growth, development and healing.

Voices Global / Sage & Savant presents their second segment of youth day programs with the official dates listed as November 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th. The project will be run as an "after school" day program which will take place in the afternoon.
