We celebrated this special day with a beautiful BBQ hosted by Che Kam and his dedicated team. To top it all off, our residents were treated to live saxophone music, brought in by our Life Enrichment Manager, Azam — creating the perfect soundtrack for a joyful afternoon. 🎷

💕"Remember, You Are the Piece That Makes the Difference"💕

In May, we took time to recognize and celebrate the incredible individuals who make our community stronger every day — our dedicated staff and compassionate nurses.

We began our appreciation week with a moving Gratitude Ceremony, where residents and managers shared heartfelt messages and tokens of appreciation. It was an emotional and meaningful start that reminded us all of the deep connections we share.

The week continued with thoughtful and fun events, including:

- A High Tea Party

- A Special Lunch

- Message Day filled with words of encouragement

- A visit from the Ice Cream Truck

- And a delicious BBQ to wrap up the celebrations

While the events took place in May, the appreciation we feel lasts all year long. To every team member: thank you for being the piece that makes the difference.

❄️ Valentine’s Day at Forestview Retirement Residence ❄️🌹

After 15cm of snow this week, we are celebrating the Day of Love in the most beautiful way! 💖

Our talented Chef Kam prepared a delicious meal for our lovely residents and guests to enjoy, including Chocolate Banana Maple Crêpes with Potato Fry Waffles, Strawberry Fondues with Blueberries, and Real Chocolate Drizzle. 🍫🍓✨ We also had crispy Fried Chicken Drumsticks, Homemade Biscuits, and more Potato Fry Waffles with Strawberry Fondues—delicious! 😋🍴

Our wonderful Lifestyle Program Manager, Azam, spread even more love by handing out roses to both residents and staff, brightening everyone’s day. 🌹💐
And to top it off, we were serenaded with live music by the amazing Rhonda Silver! 🎶💖
