A study showed that children were not at a greater risk of contact-lens related corneal incidents when compared to adults. In fact, in the youngest age group, that is children from 8-11 years old, the rate of incidents was markedly lower compared to adults.

Did you know that now that it has been 2 years into the pandemic, there has been an increase in myopic progression among school-aged children? This is likely related to the increased near-based activities (e.g. going to school online) and reduced outdoor time (being confined at home).
