IgFM - Interest Group in Family Medicine Our mission:
1. Increase student exposure to family medicine.
2. Inform students of the diversity of roles filled by family physicians.

The Interest Group in Family Medicine partners with the Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM) at the University of Toronto, the Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP) and the College of Family Physicians Canada (CFPC). We hold a number of events throughout the year including: speaker series, clinical skills conferences, journal club, a mentorship program and various networking social events with residents and preceptors. Facilitate positive interactions between students and family physicians.
4. Promote post-graduate training and practice in family medicine.
