💙 Exciting news for the BSAC community! 💙

We’re thrilled to share that the Blind Sailing Association of Canada has been chosen as one of the charities supported by EyeRide 2026, alongside TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Cycling Club and BALANCE for Blind Adults.

EyeRide is all about movement, confidence, and connection — values we see every time our sailors take the helm.

📅 EyeRide 2026 takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, featuring a beautiful one-day ride through Ontario’s small towns and countryside. Riders can choose between:
• 🚴‍♀️ 65 km from Vaughan to Alliston
• 🚴‍♂️ 130 km from Vaughan to Collingwood
• 🚴‍♀️ EyeRide virtual in case you cannot join the race in person

Funds raised for BSAC will support essential repairs and upgrades to our sailboats C-Breeze and Catch the Wind — improving safety, accessibility, and learning opportunities, and ensuring these boats can serve our community for years to come.

Our sailors are not passengers. They steer, trim sails, make decisions, and build lasting friendships. Your support helps keep these empowering experiences alive on the water ⛵️

👉 You can support BSAC by registering for EyeRide 2026 or making a donation. Click the link below.

We’re proud to be part of EyeRide 2026 and deeply grateful to everyone supporting the vision loss community through this amazing event. 💙

Today is GIVING TUESDAY!

This year, we encountered challenges with significant boat repairs and related expenses. As we won’t be attending the Boat Show this winter, the organization will be especially dependent on other fundraising efforts.

We hope this Giving Tuesday will inspire generous donations to support our activities.

For a contribution of $25 or more, you’ll receive a tax receipt.

You can donate through our website https://blindsailing.ca/, send an e-transfer to finance@blindsailing.ca, or donate through CanadaHelps https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/id/90212/

Our charitable tax number is 864 299 425RR0001.

Thank you so much to our past and future donors for your wonderful support.
