We’re saying THANK YOU to the amazing community that has supported us. ❤️

Following our recent appearance on Dragons' Den, the encouragement from families, parents, and teachers has been overwhelming. Because of that support, we’re proud to launch Thank You Thursdays.

Every Thursday at our Barrie location, the tips we receive will go toward providing head lice help for families in need.

This initiative allows us to give back to the community that has trusted Lice Squad and Superhero Kids Hair with Care for so many years.

🪲 Super-lice are on the rise — and more families are struggling to get rid of them 🪲

We’re seeing a growing number of drug-resistant “super lice” that don’t respond to the old over-the-counter shampoos — so getting rid of them has become a lot harder. Experts warn that many families try treatment on their own, but still can’t clear the infestation.

That’s why more people are turning to professionals like Lice Squad for safe, effective lice removal. As founder Dawn Mucci puts it: “Super lice aren’t invincible — they’re not wearing capes. They’ve just developed resistance.”

✅ What to do:
• Inspect your kids’ hair regularly (especially if classmates have had lice)
• Follow treatment directions carefully, and consider non-chemical or professional removal if needed
• Wash hats, bedding, and anything that touched the head — but remember: lice don’t carry disease and having them isn’t a sign of poor hygiene.
