WFC RC MEMBER TO LEAD $6.4M NIH-FUNDED CIH RESEARCH CENTER!

Dr Mike Schneider will co-lead the new ENRICH Center at the University of Pittsburgh, supported by a $6.4M NIH grant.

This virtual national hub will train and mentor researchers in chiropractic, acupuncture, naturopathy, and osteopathy—fields that have historically lacked research funding and infrastructure, despite widespread patient use of non-surgical, non-drug care.

The ENRICH Center aims to build CIH research capacity, support evidence-based studies, and empower under-resourced researchers across the U.S.

📢 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: EUROPEAN REPRESENTATIVE – WFC DISABILITY & REHABILITATION COMMITTEE
📍 Toronto, June 7, 2025 – The World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) is currently seeking applications to fill a vacancy that has arisen in its European region to serve on the WFC Disability & Rehabilitation Committee (DRC).
The WFC is committed to advancing research that explores the methods, mechanisms, and outcomes of chiropractic care, particularly in relation to disability and rehabilitation, to improve patient well-being and support the integration of evidence-based findings into clinical practice.

The DRC serves as a body of experts advising the WFC Board in the area of evidence-based disability prevention and rehabilitation as it relates to chiropractic. This may include identifying priority areas and contributing to projects aligned with the World Health Organization (WHO). The committee also focuses on knowledge transfer, research, and implementation.

🔎 Who should apply?
Applicants do not need to be chiropractors, but should have expertise in disability and rehabilitation and a broad understanding of chiropractic.
