Moving into our new Yonge Sheppard Animal Hospital space was admittedly a lot of work — months of planning, designing, and building. But now, watching our patients explore, purr, and wag their tails here, it already feels like home.

We wanted the space to be modern, calm, and welcoming — but most importantly, to be filled with the pets we love and the families we’re so grateful to care for. Seeing you all here makes every step worth it. ❤️

August just flew by, didn't it? ✈️

A huge thank you to all our wonderful clients for your incredible patience and support during our big move this month. We're so grateful and are loving our new home at 678 Sheppard Ave E!

Our team is now taking a well-earned break to recharge over the long weekend. We will be closed from Saturday, August 30th through Monday, September 1st for Labour Day.

We'll reopen at 9 AM on Tuesday, September 2nd.

Lumi wants to know... have you heard about the clinic's move?

We were blessed with ragdolls yesterday who were enjoying the larger clinic space, and windows in the exam rooms.

Our soft launch has gone off with a few hitches, but we're happy to see some pets enjoying the new space 🫶

For those of you who’ve ever been involved in a big reno project, you’ll understand when we say: things haven’t gone quite according to plan 😅

While we’re up and running, the building is still very much a work in progress. Most notably, some of our exam room doors haven’t arrived yet – which is a bit of a problem when you work with fast, furry flight risk friends.

As a result we kindly ask for your patience and cooperation as we settle in and work around the dust, the drills, and the missing glass for doors😿:

🔐 All dogs must be on a leash – no retractables, please
👜 All cats must be in a secure, closed carrier

We still plan on opening tomorrow at 📍678 Sheppard Ave East, Unit 6 (right at the corner of Greenbriar Rd and Sheppard Ave E), we’ll do our best to keep things running smoothly and on time!

As we pack up our soon to be “old clinic”, this collection of thank-you cards has us feeling all the feels.

Each note tells a story—of a pet helped, a family supported, or a student or volunteer inspired. These memories are a reminder of what truly matters: the relationships we’ve built over the years with our clients, patients, and colleagues.

We’re proud to be an independent, privately owned clinic from pretty humble beginnings —no paid memberships, no flashy marketing, just thoughtful, personalized care built on trust, continuity, and respect.

We’re not here to reinvent veterinary medicine—we’re here to keep practicing it with care, intention, and heart.

Monday Aug 4 (Civic Holiday)
Tues Aug 5 to Thurs Aug 7 (Moving Days) --> during this time, we'll still be available by phone/text and email in case you need to reach us, but we won't be able to prepare food/medications.
