This week at Women’s Health in Women’s Hands, we celebrated the launch of Our Healthbox!

The Healthbox is a safe, discreet, and judgment-free way for our community to access important health and harm reduction supplies, no questions asked.

Why it matters:
For years, clients have told us about barriers to accessing health supplies. Sometimes they’re not available, or they’re tied to systems that can feel intimidating or stigmatizing. The Healthbox helps close that gap.

What’s inside:
• Naloxone kits (to reverse opioid overdoses)
• Sharps containers (safe disposal)
• Condoms & sexual health supplies
• Menstrual products

At the launch, advocate Chantal Mukandoli shared:
"Education, Access, Empowerment. The Healthbox helps us empower our community and prevent HIV transmission by giving free access to condoms and self-test kits."

Thank you to our partners and supporters, including the Canadian Foundation For AIDS Research (CANFAR) and REACH Nexus at MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions (Unity Health Toronto).

Together, we’re breaking down barriers to care and making access easier for everyone.
