If 2025 felt messy — emotionally, financially, energetically, or in the “wtf am I even building?” way — you’re not alone.
And you’re not behind.
You’re just in the stage of business every health pro eventually hits:

The stage where you’re doing too much of everything
and not enough of what actually matters.

Most practitioners don’t burn out because they’re inexperienced or unmotivated.
They burn out because their energy is scattered across:

→ too many ideas
→ too many offers
→ too many tweaks
→ too many platforms
→ too many admin tasks
→ too many misaligned clients
→ too many “shoulds” from the online space

And here’s the shift that changes everything for 2026:

Clarity > Hustle.
Every single time.

Clarity creates momentum.
Momentum creates clients.
Clients create confidence.
And confidence fuels consistency — the foundation of every thriving practice.

So before January arrives, ask yourself:

→ What am I DONE tolerating?

→ What kind of business am I building on purpose — not accidentally?

You need direction.

You need clarity.

2026 is the year you stop scattering your energy
and start standing fully in your expertise.

and even more obsessed with lining up all their designation letters behind their name…

…when no one outside the industry even knows what half of them mean.

who never went to school for it…
sharing their story online…

…and absolutely KILLING IT in business.

Why?

Because people relate to them.
Because their story feels real.
Because they speak like a human, not a textbook.
Because they show the struggle, not just the credentials.
Because clients can FEEL lived experience in a way no abbreviation can ever replicate.

Here’s the truth:

If you’re not sharing your story, you’re not building trust.
You’re just sharing your designations — and you’ve lost the plot.

Your story is what makes your expertise make sense.
Your story is what makes your philosophy believable.
Your story is what creates connection, trust, and loyalty.

Your certifications support your work.
Your STORY explains it.

I had one of those.

And for a long time, I was annoyed.
Resentful, even.

Until one moment completely flipped the script —
and turned her into one of my most loyal, long-term clients.

Let me tell you something I personally experience all the time…

I go to genuinely connect with someone online —
maybe respond to a post, maybe leave a thoughtful comment —
and the second I type a totally normal word like “energy,” “reset,” “support,” or “guide”…

BAM.
I get ambushed by an automated sequence I didn’t ask for and definitely don’t want.

And instantly?
I shut down.
I don’t reply.
I leave the comment hanging.
And the trust?
Gone.

Not a single human alive wants to be tricked into talking to a robot.

Yet this is what so many health pros are accidentally doing with ManyChat:

→ They set up trigger words that fire at the wrong people
→ They pretend the messages are “them”
→ They hijack genuine conversation with automated scripts
→ They break trust before it’s even built

Automations aren’t the problem.
The lack of transparency is.

If you’re going to use ManyChat — and honestly, I think you should —
you need to:

✔ Be upfront that it’s an automated reply
✔ Set it up intentionally, not impulsively
✔ Use it to support connection, not replace it
✔ Avoid trigger words your actual clients commonly use in natural conversation
✔ Never pretend it’s you when it isn’t

ManyChat should feel like a helpful assistant…
not a trapdoor people fall into when they try to talk to you.

Because trust is fragile.
And you can lose a lead — a real human —
in three seconds flat.

I’m going to admit something that might surprise you.

Even after 20+ years in the natural health world…
Even after working with hundreds (maybe thousands) of clients…
Even after building a business that completely reshaped my life…

I still have moments where I genuinely wonder:

“Why would anyone care about my story?”

I catch myself sharing the strategy, the systems, the branding —
but leaving out the parts of my life that shaped all of it.

The health challenges that forced me to rebuild myself.
The moments I questioned whether I could keep going.
The lessons I learned through experience, not textbooks.
The absolute fullness of my life… the chaos and the beauty.

And sometimes I skip those parts because it feels safer to just teach.
To give the information.
To stay in “strategist mode.”

But here’s what I’ve learned — and what I remind my clients every day:

People don’t connect to information.
They connect to the human delivering it.

The truth is, my story is the reason I’m good at what I do.
My lived experience is the backbone of my clarity, my standards, my systems, my boundaries, my philosophy, and the way I help health pros build businesses that actually work.

And the same is true for you.

You’re not “just” a practitioner.
You’re a whole human with a past, a body, a journey, and a point of view someone is waiting to hear.

If you’ve ever held back your story because you thought no one would care?
Trust me — they will.

They care because it makes you believable.
They care because it makes you real.
They care because it makes them feel less alone.

Your experience is not a side note in your business.

Let’s be honest:
The online health + wellness space has never been louder… or less authentic.

You can buy fake followers.
You can copy someone’s tone.
You can hire an AI to write your story.
You can curate a feed that looks like a magazine spread.
You can package yourself as a “leader” without ever leading anyone.

And on the outside?
All of it looks polished.
Professional.
Convincing.

But here’s the part most practitioners forget:

People can FEEL when you’re the real thing.
And they can feel when you’re not.

The practitioners who grow long-term, sustainable, referral-flooded practices aren’t the ones with the prettiest brands or the most rehearsed content.

They’re the ones who:

→ have lived what they teach
→ share the story behind their philosophy
→ speak from experience, not theory
→ communicate with clarity, not performance
→ build credibility through consistency
→ tell the truth, even when it’s unpopular
→ aren’t afraid to stand on their actual beliefs

Authenticity isn’t a vibe.
It’s a strategy.
And it will outlast any trend, template, or algorithm shift.

If you want clients to trust you?
Don’t try to impress them.

Show them who you really are.
Tell them why you believe what you believe.
Let them see the lived experience behind your expertise.

Every struggling practitioner I’ve ever worked with has had one thing in common:

They weren’t clear.

Not about their offer.
Not about their process.
Not about their message.
Not about their boundaries.
Not about what they actually wanted to build.

And unclear thinking is the most expensive problem in your business — because you pay for it every single day:

→ in hours wasted
→ in clients who don’t convert
→ in protocols that take too long
→ in posts that fall flat
→ in services that no longer fit
→ in burnout you could have avoided
→ and in money you should be making but aren’t

Most practitioners think they need better marketing, or better branding, or better systems.

But before any of that works, they need better clarity.

Here’s what unclear thinking looks like:

“I help everyone with everything.”

“My offer is… uhh… well it includes…”

“I don’t want to niche down because I can help anyone!”

“My clients know what I mean…” (spoiler: they don’t.)

“I’ll just add another session, another PDF, another bonus…”

More information isn’t clarity.
More deliverables aren’t clarity.
More effort definitely isn’t clarity.

Clarity is this:

→ This is who I help.
→ This is the exact problem I solve.
→ This is how I solve it.
→ This is the container I deliver it in.
→ This is what it costs.
→ This is what they get.
→ This is why it works.

When you become clear, everything else becomes easy.

Your clients feel it.
Your content reflects it.
Your business aligns to it.
And your time — and money — finally stop being wasted on the wrong things.

If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or spinning your wheels, don’t look for more information.

Look for clarity.

That’s the thing that changes everything.
