Congratulations on taking an important step towards improving your digestive and bowel health! 🌿
If you are new to colonics, you might be wondering how to prepare for your session so that you feel your best and get the most out of the treatment. A little preparation goes a long way in supporting a smooth, comfortable experience.
💧 Hydrate Well (1–2 days before): Drink plenty of water (at least 8–10 glasses per day). Hydration softens stool and supports a smoother cleanse.
🥗 Eat Lightly (1-2 days before): Focus on easy-to-digest foods such as steamed vegetables, salads, soups & broths, fruit, yogourt & keifer, poultry, fish and whole grains such as quinoa, oats, or brown rice.
🍔 Avoid heavy foods, food that have a high potential for intolerance, or food which lacks nutritive value (1-2 days before): Red meat, fried or greasy foods, dairy, refined sugars, carbonated drinks, alcohol & caffeine.
🚫 For 2 hours prior to your session, avoid eating any solid foods. In order to be well hydrated, you can drink herbal tea, fresh vegetable juice and of course water!
🧘♀️ Prepare Your Body and Mind: Try to arrive relaxed and comfortable—stress can affect your body’s ability to release. Schedule some quiet time after your session to rest, reflect and hydrate.
We are here to support you every step of the way on your digestive health journey. Be sure to share your health history and intentions for the session with us—and never hesitate to ask questions. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable, informed, and fully cared for throughout the entire process.
