The deluxe cookie that we entered as our Karma Cup entry ended up outperforming the rest in these following areas: smell, taste, texture, medicinal effects, nutritional value, innovation, ease of dosing, visual appeal, enjoyment and ultimately... would you buy it?

Maybe we did so well because every product that comes out of our test kitchen is generally based on the same criteria.

Over the past 5 years we’ve been collecting qualitative data through research and product development. We’ve spent hundreds of hours communicating directly with cannabis users new and old, that primarily were seeking products they could use as an alternative to smoking.

The verdict is now official...

🏆 There are a handful of contests out there showcasing the best of the best in cannabis products, and one of the most well known among the 420 communities across Canada is the Karma Cup

🥇Earlier this summer we thought it would be fun to enter the 2021 Karma Cup competition. We’d never participated before, but we had confidence that we were up to the challenge.

This prestigious contest started back in 2014 and was developed in part to enable growers, producers and industry experts to judge the country’s best cannabis products on an even playing field. Their ideals include Value, Fun, Integrity, Positively, Truthfulness, and Quality. 🤍🖤🤍

What an honor it was to come first pace among a selection of really talented creators. As part of our prize we also received an official so The Green Chef is now also officially part of the

New Product Development is what we’re all about now, and sometimes candy just seems to make everything better. Sugar releases dopamine in your brain so we often associate sweets like these with positivity, joy, love, comfort, friendship and family.

In our pursuit of coming up with new products for the licensed rec market, we whipped up these buttery caramels in the test kitchen. So yummy and soft, definitely a special indulgence that we’re sure will be sought after.

With the right infusion, its super easy to make infused chocolate bars right from the comfort of your home kitchen. But warning, it does take some practice and can be pretty messy. Today we were just playing around here and didn't quite get the temper process exactly correct on the first try, but it still turned out delicious.

Just a reminder to be mindful of your measurements so you know how potent each square will be. Maybe go a bit light on the THC potency because I think most would agree that once you start snacking on chocolate, its hard to stop.
