Most families don’t plan for a C-section.
Preparing doesn’t mean expecting it.
It means giving yourself options and support, no matter how your birth unfolds.
A few simple ways to prepare:
• Set up a main recovery space on one level
• Think about how you’ll get in and out of bed comfortably
• Have high-waisted, loose clothing ready
• Plan for help with meals, lifting, and household tasks
• Consider what overnight support could look like
If you do need a C-section, you will be more prepared for postpartum and more relaxed while recovering.
Reminder we are always here with private prenatal classes to prepare for birth and postpartum and postpartum doulas for that extra hand you may need while recovering
