IPHSA - Interprofessional Healthcare Students' Association Our mandate is to create a fun and educational environment in which students have the opportunity to interact with and learn from one another.

The Interprofessional Healthcare Students’ Association (IPHSA) is dedicated to fostering interprofessional education and collaboration between 13 healthcare disciplines in Toronto. IPHSA is a Toronto group of student representatives from the various Health Care and Health Sciences faculties who are interested in participating in and promoting interprofessional education (IPE) within these facultie

s. As future health care providers, we believe that fostering a strong interprofessional relationship, involving understanding, appreciation, and co-operation between health disciplines, is the key to providing our patients with the best care they can receive. 📣 Looking for a unique learning opportunity to explore careers in health care? Check out this incredible event! 👀

The University of Toronto Interprofessional Healthcare Students’ Association is excited to introduce the Interprofessional Healthcare Case-Based Competition happening on Saturday March 8, 2025 at 9:00 AM-4:30 PM virtually via Zoom.

Join us for an incredible learning opportunity, where you along with other high school student participants will work collaboratively in groups to problem solve through a case study and develop an interdisciplinary team-based approach to care. You will have the opportunity to learn from and connect with current healthcare professionals, professors and current students. The goal of this event is to foster learning about the different health professions and the importance of interprofessional collaboration.

Mentors will be matched with a high school/undergraduate student and other health professional students based on their career interests. The time commitment is low and engaged members will receive at least 1 IPE credit for their ongoing mentorship (please see form for detailed IPE requirements)!
