My Approach to Helping
I am a caring, intuitive therapist often sensing what your issues are even before you say it. My holistic approach helps you to deal with your issues on the emotional, physical and spiritual level. Your vulnerability can be expressed without the fear of being judged. Through our therapeutic alliance a close bond develops whereby you feel you can trust me. In that safety zone, with my guidance you will release your fears, anxieties and feelings of helplessness. You will feel like the weight has been taken off your shoulders and you can breathe again. For couples I use the Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) method which helps you to bond on a deeper level, going beyond communication skills. This allows you and your partner to really understand the other on an emotional level. You can experience results very early in therapy as I move fairly quickly to the core of your issues. Most insurance providers cover my fees under Registered Social Work or Psychological Services through my affiliation with a Licensed Psychologist.
