She began her 20-year career in healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, caring for prematurely born children at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and with adults at the Womenโ€™s College Hospital in Toronto. Anytime is FRITTATA TIME and itโ€™s for dinner tonight. ๐Ÿ˜

A great meal choice that is packed with protein, veggies and healthy fats. Nutrient dense, easy to customize, hot or cold and easy to make.
Low carb, dairy and gluten free โ€ฆgood for brain and heart health( choline and healthy fats ) and weight management

Recipe:
8 whole eggs
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 cloves garlic minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Tbsp of EVO to cast iron skillet to heat up
Veggies of choice. - I find the key here for flavour is sautรฉing the veggies with onion or leeks before adding to egg mixture !! ๐Ÿฅฆ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐Ÿฅ•๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐Ÿฅ—

Preheat oven to 400
Whisk eggs, almond milk, garlic, salt and pepper until well combined.
Heat Tbsp of EVO
Choose vegetable of choice( remember to sautรฉ) and add to egg mixture
Bake about 25 min but check ahead

Crunchy, colourful and packed with flavour !!
Rich in Vit C, loaded with antioxidants, fibre, low in calories and carbs

I sliced the red pepper in half
Scoop out seeds

For these hot and humid days .. hydration is truly essential !

Many clients ask me - Do I need Electrolyte powder in my
water and the answer is depends :)
Electrolytes ( sodium, potassium, mg) help regulate muscle function, hydration balance and nerve signalling

Yet you donโ€™t always need ELO powder but can be helpful at times. I generally recommend using for intense workouts, illness, low carb diet and hangovers.

I was asked to sample the one I am holding and only used a half due to its sugar and carb content so would keep this in mind.

Many clients feel overwhelmed with big changes so suggesting small tweaks can make a big difference too especially with consistency !

Tip of the day โ€ฆ Add a handful of leafy greens to one meal today .. mine was a spinach salad with strawberries and mushrooms
I add some chopped egg for protein too

Spinach is packed with folate, iron and antioxidants as well as fibre to promote good gut health and support our immune system.
