She began her 20-year career in healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, caring for prematurely born children at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and with adults at the Women’s College Hospital in Toronto. She continued in her studies to earn her certifications as a Registered Nutritional Consultant Practitioner, Certified Nutritional Practitioner, and Registered Orthomolecular Health Pra

ctitioner. She is a member of the Nutritional Practitioners Council of Canada. Marsha also studied with the Canadian Professional Association of Cancer Coaches and is a Certified Cancer Coach. With such juicy and flavourful peaches in season I enjoy having them in an arugula salad with some walnuts and a simple balsamic vinaigrette. You can toast the walnuts or grill the peaches but when short on time this is a quick and nutritious salad with some additional protein and 🥑

Marsha’s Meatless Monday ? I try most weeks but no hard fast rules. .. A tofu stir fry with snow peas, zucchini, mushroom, brocolli and soba noodles. I prefer the tofu brand and generally firm to extra firm in texture. So many ways to flavour it up and we often enjoy a peanut based or sesame soy marinade … if you have an air fryer I highly recommend as the crispy texture is the way to go 😁

I love to change up my breakfast options and checked out this great mix. Only 5 ingredients and loaded with plant protein, fibre and low in sugar. Those are some of things I look at when I read a label !! And of course it has some chocolate chips too. They are DELISH. 😋

Over the past 7 days it was wonderful to take some time off and disconnect from technology, screens, emails …which is sometime referred to as a digital detox. This can prove to be beneficial regarding physical and mental stress( overwhelming these days ), can increase productivity, more social connection with family and friends, mindfulness and improved sleep. This was not easy for me and I would say I was 75% successful. Taking a break from technology and Retraining your brain can have a positive impact on our daily living.
