A lil reminder to continuously carve out space & time for yourself amongst the chaos of your busy life.

If you are struggling to adjust back to your normal “pre pandemic” routine, just know that you definitely aren’t alone!!

This adjustment is intense and can be exhausting!!!

So make sure to take time for yourself, do things you love & that make you feel good.

Fill up your cup, renew your energy ✨⚡️

I cried in the bathroom at a restaurant because the only thing on the menu was pasta 🍝

I kept going back to guys who treated me poorly and made me feel SO insecure

I let coworkers and friends walk all over me because I was afraid of not being liked

I pushed my body to extreme limits on zero rest and food because I thought being smaller meant being more worthy!

If any of this sounds familiar, I’m here to tell you that it gets better….

You are worthy of a text back from the person you went on a date with last week

You are worthy of pizza, pasta & bread!

You are worthy of respect and kindness from literally everyone

& you are worthy of a living life that makes you feel happy & confident

…simply just recognizing that you are worthy is the first step

Struggling with self doubt? Here’s how to believe anything is possible for you 👇🏼

Write down 3-4 things that you didn’t think you could overcome but you DID. Or write down 3-4 things that you didn’t think could happen to you but DID.

Putting that pen to paper will help your mind absorb it as proof & fact.

I’ll go first ⬇️

I remember when I didn’t think I could actually feel comfortable in my own body & skin.

Or when I didn’t think I could change my career from fashion stylist to life coach & trainer.

Basically just take note of all the good & positive transformations that have happened in your life so far...big or small!

GUESS WHAT🚨I’m a life coach and I still struggle with my mental health.

I was asked the other day on a corporate wellness workshop how long it took me to achieve self love and feel happy with myself.

The truth is that I am still working at it every single day, and that’s absolutely fine!

👉🏻 I still experience moments where I struggle with self doubt
👉🏽I still have days where I cry and feel insecure
👉🏾I still have days where I need to combat my negative self talk

Falling ‘off track’ is not bad. I am not a superhuman, of course I will still have rocky moments.

What matters is that I have worked hard to achieve a more solid foundation for self love and know HOW to build myself back up.

Wanna know one of the biggest things holding you back right now from achieving self love?⬇️

You’re making your emotions a part of your identity.

When someone asks how you’re doing, how many times have you replied with, “I am…”?

“I am sad”, “I am exhausted”, “I am angry”...

Rather than "I feel sad”, “I feel exhausted”…

Although it seems so harmless, this small adjustment in the way you speak and think could completely transform your mindset ⚡️

When you say, “I am”, your brain absorbs this emotion as permanent and therefore part of your identity.

When you say, “I feel”, your brain can recognize that this emotion is temporary and therefore have less impact on how you view yourself.

Make a conscious effort to switch up these words in your daily conversations and watch your confidence and self perception improve 🌞😊
