Are you guilty of saying any of the above? 🤔
What would happen if we began our day with an “I get to” mentality instead of an “I have to” thought process? 🤔⠀⠀
I GET to go to work
I GET to go to the gym
I GET to have a busy day⠀⠀
Whatever it may be! We often dress our opportunities as stress, but they are in fact blessings.
Self talk and choice of wording is SO important and it can be the difference between whether or not we go and do something/get something done.⠀⠀
As humans, we don’t ever enjoy feeling like we HAVE to do something, it ends up feeling like a chore 🤷🏽‍♂️⠀⠀
However, if we GET to do something, it almost feels like it’s a gift or something we should feel lucky doing! Which is TRUE!⠀⠀
While many of us sit back and complain about having to go to the gym and getting an hour’s workout in, there are tons of people out there who’d wish they could be in our position.⠀⠀
I get my butt to the gym because I GET to improve my fitness and health day by day, to prevent feeling lethargic and to cope with stress. 🤯⠀⠀
This is the reason I started training, it’s my WHY for fitness 😍⠀⠀
For my clients and I, the priority is always remembering our “why”. Why we started training, why we made the conscious decision to turn our lives around for the better.⠀⠀
THAT is our driving force to train, stay active and healthy every. single. day.⠀⠀

Reverse dieting is strategy of dieting where calories are increased in a controlled manner over time to increase metabolic rate while minimizing body fat gain.
What’s happening is you hit a point where you’re maintaining your weight at a low caloric intake from years of improper yo-yo dieting and your metabolism has adapted.
More and more clients are coming to us who are either chronic dieters or who need to drop a lot of weight end up in this position, where they’re still at a higher weight/body fat than they’d like, but their calories are pretty low.
In fact, we have had several women come to us over the last 12 months maintaining their weight on less than 1000 calories per day. (No joke)
Majority of coaches on social media preach about “calorie deficit” to lose weight loss which Is true however not many coaches out their actually focus on their clients hormonal & overall HEALTH.
You need to understand metabolic adaptation & the protocol involved to assess hormonal & metabolic health.
Based on my expertise/ my knowledge as a coach it’s not in my clients best interests to continue to be in a severe calorie deficit for their overall long term health.
The longer you reverse diet & hold higher calories the better off you will be. You have to give your body time to heal rather than constantly beating it.
I’ve seen first hand the health issues people have who want to work with us. When calorie intake is chronically low, health deteriorates. Common symptoms are loss of menstrual cycle, reproductive function, libido; thyroid dysfunction; poor immune function; fatigue; headaches; hair loss; poor sleep; list goes on.
If you’re the type of person who wants right-now results, then you’re less likely to have success reverse dieting.
You need to get your calories to a healthy level & hang out their for 3-6 months.
Focus on what’s most important in the long term. Don’t get caught up in the stupid cycle of those five pounds you just have to lose.

Super proud of our client who is looking so toned & lean in her latest progress pics! 👏🏼
She is now down 11 pounds! We can really see the difference on her waist, hips and thighs 💪🏼
The inches are dropping and her strength is going up! ⬆️
All the injury rehab work & walking in all kinds of weather is paying off!! ❄️ ☔️
Despite leading a very busy lifestyle. It’s been great to see the growth and progress she have made thus far.

“NEVER give up what you want most for what you want now”
This post is for people who’s weight loss progress is maybe slow or they are currently reverse dieting as they are not in healthy position to enter a fat loss phase.
Working towards a long term SUSTAINABLE goal will require sacrifice, discipline, consistency, persistence and PATIENCE.
Ive being working out for 15 years now. I’m still working hard on my physique & health & fitness goals.
Results don’t happen over night or even a few weeks for most people. It happens over a long period of time, be patient with yourself and believe in the process!
Writing everything down and taking a ton of pictures helped me through my ups and downs.
There will be tears, there will be sore muscles and moments when you feel like you’re missing out or doing it for nothing but YOU’RE NOT!
I know first hand what its like to be discouraged & tempted to quit, but please, do yourself a favor and stay strong, dig deep within and find the courage to stick to it for YOU!
You deserve everything you’ve wished or hoped for..whether its fitting into a pair of jeans, being able to keep up with you kids or getting off medication–it WILL be worth it if you have patience and stick to your plan!
The feeling of accomplishment and knowing you decided your journey and didnt let anybody stop you is humbling and if I can help everyone I will.
Get out there and create your future...believe you can and you will!

Tag someone who wants to build a bigger b***y 🍑
Girls if you are already at your goal bodyweight but you still don’t have the body you crave then read on this one is for you.💃🏽
The 8 exercises here you must be doing consistently 2-3 times per week - lifting heavier each week (progressive overload)
Aim for 1g - 1.2g of protein per pound of your body weight every day 🍗 🥩 .
If you are overweight aim for your GOAL weight in grams of protein.
It’s not healthy to stay in a fat loss phase all year round, you need to focus on gaining muscle and dare I say it... weight.
You won’t build muscle or get toned if you are under eating or hitting the treadmill all day.
In order to build a b***y, your food, nutrition and macros revolve around muscle gain.
Your b***y won’t gain if you are constantly under eating.
Forget about having the perfect ass eating 1200 calories or less per day. 👎🏼
After 6 + months of gaining and a few mini cuts thrown in here and there you can trim your body fat to finally see the shape, muscle and tone you thought you would never see ie a Bikini Body/ GluteGoddess 👙

Shout out to our client just 6 weeks into our program and 16 pounds down 💪🏼
The progress she has made in just a few weeks in phenomenal and goes beyond just a number on a scale.
She is feeling stronger, fitter and more energetic to play with her kids. (She works as a nanny)
She has completely changed up her eating habits.
Great to see her eager to learn and adhering!
Still early days!

🤔HOW TO FIX SKINNY FAT 🤔
This situation is actually so so so common ☝🏼
It’s a punch in the gut when people think your skinny by how you look in your clothes but when you take off your Tshirt you have a belly and lack the muscle definition 🙁
Running every day and crash dieting ( like driving your car without gas or oil) Is NOT the answer❌.
It’s actually making things worse leading to a whole host of metabolic & hormonal issues.
The solution is actually simple but having the patience and putting it into practice is the hardest part. ☝🏼
Here’s what you should do 👇🏼👇🏼
✅You need to train for strength- so compound exercises - not isolation exercises.
✅Rep range should be in the 4-8 range- higher 10-15 when training legs.
✅You are going to have to cut out the long cardio sessions as you need to build muscle not waste it away.
✅If you are eating super low calories- take a break and eat at your true maintenance- give your metabolism and your hormones time to recover( this one is a real challenge for most people)
✅Spend 6 months or more focusing on getting stronger, building muscle eating more food. Only then can you go back into a small calorie deficit of 15%
