You know those days where you feel stuck, unmotivated, or stressed out? If you are human, then the answer to this question is most likely a big, fat YES! And what do we do when this happens? Most of the time, we resort to external pick-me-ups such as unhealthy food or retail therapy. Unfortunately, these solutions are temporary and usually come with nasty consequences for our health and wallet.

The most effective solution to a down day is a simple mental shift. We usually get into a rut when we are out of balance or moving away from our true values and it is our personal duty to counteract this negative movement by shifting the mind towards what is important to us.
