A client/friend brought this to my attention and asked my opinion... this is a warning post. A warning to do your research and to know who to trust your face and your life too!
This client said that she got a "BBL laser facial" which is a Broadband Laser Resurfacing treatment. Her body went into shock and needed medical attention while in service and went to the hospital with 1st & 2nd degree burns
Not everything is for everybody. For those of more melanated skins, laser skin Resurfacing is generally not recommended
There has been great advancements where a few laser skin treatments can work for POC, but you gotta know what device and what credentials the technician has to perform them.

This is an extreme case but it is real and happens a lot. Choose wisely, ask all the right questions, and it's ok to get 2nd or 3rd PROFESIONAL opinions. I always tell my patients before they move into treatments with us "have you gone to the Dr? Have you done anything like this in the past? Have you looked up other treatments or options?" Because when you come to us for treatments you are entrusting us to make the best recommendations for you. It's not about money or quick fixes. It's about what's best suited for long term results
