Whether it’s been patients or clients, the way they make me feel is the same. Enthusiastic and grateful to be on a transformation journey with them.⁣
⁣
Despite being paid by someone else, I’ve always worked for them. ⁣
💥Gotten out of bed for them.⁣
💥Came up with solutions for them. ⁣
💥Advocated for them. ⁣
💥Grown for them. ⁣
With every personality test I’ve taken I’ve scored high on the enthusiasm scale, somewhere in the 96th %. Before I accepted this as a superpower I used to feel self-conscious about it. ⁣
❓Wondering why the team meeting faces looked so unenthused. ⁣
❓Wondering if I was too much on an onboarding call.⁣
❓Always scrolling through zoom pages trying to find an energy that felt like mine. A rare sighting. ⁣
❓Wondering if my excitement was unprofessional.⁣
❓Wondering if one day they would hire others like me so I could share my fervour openly.⁣
⁣
Getting to the root of why I’m like this allowed me to see it in all its glory. The Why of my perceived madness. I love humans. They excite me but it’s more than that. ⁣
I love being part of a transformation. Magic. ⁣
One of the highest honours someone can give you is investing in you for either the solution or opportunity that leads them to their greater future. ⁣
They chose you AND they chose THEMSELVES. They said yes to committing to something new. What an honour.⁣
⁣
Investing in change is vulnerable and when I’m tasked with guiding someone through that process I can’t help but say “Thank you!!! I’ve got you!! We are in this together and I can’t wait for you to see what is on the other side.”⁣
⁣
Every time I’ve invested in myself & trusted the person holding my hand through the process, I’ve grown. Life changed. I get to experience that over & over again in my career because I’m gifted the opportunity to guide, empathise, listen, champion, love, and support clients. ⁣
I’ve vowed to myself to lean all the way into this gift. To be the most enthused and excited. To be the weirdo smiling with her hand on her heart. ⁣
If you have someone on your team who is like this. Shout them out. Thank them. This is a rare talent. ⁣
If you don’t have anyone on your team like this. Find one, your clients deserve it.

This is my friend Dan. We recently spent 13 full days together in Mexico.⁣
⁣
The easiest way to describe him is genuine. ⁣
⁣
“If you describe a person as genuine, they are honest, truthful, and sincere in the way they live and in their relationships with other people.”⁣
⁣
Dan lives life in alignment with who he is and what he believes in. He speaks honestly. He cares. He dreams. He acts. ⁣
⁣
Even though I was sure we would make great trip roommates, you never really know. ⁣
⁣
It was easy from sec 1.⁣
It was valuable from sec 1.⁣
It was important from sec 1.⁣
⁣
There are lots of reasons why but the important part came from our conversations. ⁣
⁣
Without knowing it Dan was showing me who he is as an entrepreneur. ⁣
⁣
It came at a time when I was losing faith in leadership. Leadership that made my soul say yes. I’m grateful for all of my career experiences but something is deeply missing for me. ⁣
⁣
Dan is the founder of a travel apparel clothing company
⁣
I've heard someone describe his clothes as Magic. He speaks about it from the heart. ⁣
⁣
It’s not something he thought up. It’s something he knew. ⁣
⁣
Even though his clothes are stylish and cool. That’s not what he talks about. ⁣
⁣
He talks about the impact and freedom it gives his customers. ⁣
⁣
He talks about how his clothes allow him to live his own core value of adventure. ⁣
⁣
It’s not about the clothes, it’s about what the clothes do for your life.⁣
⁣
He never boasts, name drops or number flexes. He talks about his company like someone would talk about a true love. ⁣
⁣
He trusts his team and lets them shine. He trusts them. He takes care of them. ⁣
⁣
He ends a meeting and turns to me to sing their praises and to honour them. Genuinely. ⁣
⁣
He cares about the planet.⁣
⁣
I learned more about business from him without ever talking about business.⁣
⁣
It’s not because he was trying to sell me something or look like someone on social media or speaking from a stage. ⁣
⁣
It’s who he is. Always all ways. ⁣
⁣
Now that I’m manifesting the conscious company and team of my dreams. I won’t settle. ⁣
⁣
Because of Dan I know what I’m looking for exists and that what I’m looking for is looking for me too.

On May 15th I boarded a 1 way ticket to Mexico. ⁣

Like this window, since I landed my view of everything has been tilted. ⁣

I feel a shift. ⁣
⁣
This winter was grey for me. ⁣
⁣
My routine was carving a rut in my soul. ⁣
⁣
My emotions were sticky and lingering. ⁣
⁣
Sitting in the same patterns. ⁣
⁣
Asking the same questions. ⁣
⁣
Familiar archetypes playing a role in my story. ⁣
⁣
My life wasn’t bad but I had lost connection to some of my core values.⁣
⁣
Adventure.⁣
⁣
Freedom. ⁣
⁣
Passion.⁣
⁣
Courage. ⁣
⁣
I was stuck. ⁣
⁣
Through the work I do with intentional living. ⁣
⁣
My moments of stuck don’t last as long. ⁣
⁣
The awareness kicks in quickly. ⁣

I breathe ⁣

I move ⁣

I expand ⁣

I say yes to opportunities. ⁣

Mexico was the easiest “F**k yes, Let’s go!” ⁣

The 1-way ticket was an expression of my desire for spaciousness. ⁣

I felt the shift as soon as I walked out of the airport doors.⁣

It’s not healing. ⁣
⁣
It’s fueling. ⁣
⁣
Intense. ⁣
⁣
Vibrant.⁣
⁣
The heat of Mexico has burned away residual beliefs. ⁣
⁣
Mostly about Love and Career. ⁣
⁣
Two areas of life that have had me pondering. ⁣
⁣
Change is coming. ⁣
⁣
What I’m searching for is on its way to me. ⁣
⁣
Calling in the conscious company I see in my dreams. ⁣
⁣
Calling in a love that reads like the deepest poetry. ⁣
⁣
I’m ready to receive it all. ⁣

And eat more tacos.
