We live in a culture that prioritizes stability and comfort over experiencing the unknown. If that is the case, how do you heal your past trauma?
Most people feel trapped, experiencing the same routine leading to the same patterns over and over again.
To heal properly, you need to embrace the unknown and create a new version of yourself by acknowledging past pain, allowing yourself to feel your emotions fully, and taking conscious steps toward change.
Remember when you were a child. Life was a play. You would use your imagination to create worlds. Everything was possible. As we age, the mind gets trapped in a safety net. You play with the same constant to secure your future.
Instead, reconnect with that sense of wonder—let yourself imagine a new path, and take action toward it today.
Healing implies that you face the unknown and use your past trauma to bounce into an unpredictable future. It implies that a past version of yourself will have to die in order for a new one to be born.
If you are holding onto the past too tightly, you are suppressing this natural process of birthing like a phoenix that rises from its ashes. As a consequence, most people ultimately develop a deep, chronic dissatisfaction with life. A sign that they are stuck and unable to thrive.
Yet, there’s a part of yourself that is calling you to move forward. Your suffering can only last as long as you allow it to stay.
To heal successfully, release any attachment to your current identity. Recall your energy. Focus on your potential to change, and your ability to take action. Bring your awareness back to the present moment so you can have sovereignty over your life.
Create. Change. Lean into the future.
Have ice cream therapy. Have a bubble bath. Lighten your heart and your mind. Get a haircut. Buy flowers. Allow life to surprise you!
It’s easy. It’s simple. It’s about you.
Focus on your well-being and bring back this feeling of liveliness into your life. Life is a play, and you are here to win the game!
