This wonderful patient has been living with dermatomyositis, an autoimmune condition that required long-term immune-modifying medications. Both her condition and the treatments had taken a toll on her skin, leaving her with prominent visible blood vessels and fine, wrinkled skin caused by a loss of collagen and elastin. She is in her 70’s.

To restore her skin’s health and confidence, we embarked on a tailored treatment plan. She had 7 sessions of vascular laser (Candela Vbeam Perfecta) to target and clear the visible capillaries, followed by a non-ablative fractional laser session (Candela Nordlys) to enhance her skin quality.

Both lasers stimulate collagen production, helping to repair and rejuvenate the skin. Now, her skin looks radiant, with fewer visible blood vessels and improved texture.

Her confidence has improved too!!

Moving forward, we’ll maintain her results with a simple, effective skincare routine and daily sunscreen
