We’ve seen ALOT of neck and upper back pain in our patients lately. It’s likely brought on by a combination of lots of small things that lead you to waking up with pain and stiffness. It’s usually due to a bit of the cooler weather changes (at night), more stress, more desk work/sedentary work, more getting back to busy schedules lately, carrying the mental and emotional load of our kids or others we care for and not getting back into our regular exercise and self care routines. Dr Emily is currently tidying up her main stage presentation on pelvic floor health for the Unconvention in just two weeks! The theme is.: Reimagine a new era for women. Women’s health had been historically so underfunded, under researched and ignored for far too long. We are so grateful that WDC brings women chiropractors together for events like this! After decades of male dominated conferences and presenters, it’s so nice to go somewhere when you really relate to others practices and lives, regardless of what techniques we use. Women chiropractors practicing in Canada have grown from 18% in 1996 to 45% in 2024. It’s about time we also speak and share about our expertise and experience too! Looking forward to a great unconvention!
