Great news! After a slower start to opening this summer, we are happy to announce that sailing will be open starting next week and continue into September. A schedule will be posted shortly on our website, FB and Insta and everyone is encouraged to email into: staff@disabledsailingontario.com to book sails.

Summer BBQ to follow!

We are still looking for more staff in the roles of:
Sailing instructor
Office manager
Dock and land help (with sailing opportunities)

We are also looking for any volunteers to help out in the same positions as above.

Looking forward to an extended 2024 sailing season!

Hailing all Sailors!

DSAO's 2023 Sailing Season has begun! We invite everyone to fill out a membership application at the following link (cut and paste the following into your browser): https://disabledsailingontario.com/members/become-a-member/

Sails start the first week of July and will run into the end of August. We will have some exciting new social sails planned as well - dates will be found on our website or just ask!

Well, that’s a wrap for the first in person boat show in 2 years… This Boat Show has seen us reach more potential members, new volunteers and bring in a record number of donations. We did a number of media appearances and most important forged a number of partnerships with other sailing Clubs in the GTA which will result in more volunteers and funding opportunities. This will open up accessible sailing opportunities for our members and sailors throughout the region. A big thank you to our volunteers who worked so hard over the last 9 days to make the Boat Show such a success. To Michele, Allan, Luigi, Blake, Ian, Andrew, Daina, Steve, David, Gregor, Ken, Jennifer, Vicky and Amanda, congratulations and THANK YOU for all your hard work in making this one of our most successful Boat Shows ever. Let's go sailing!

Happy New Year DSAO! 2023 is going to be a fantastic year on the water!
Toronto Boat Show is back! January 21-29. In order for us to have a booth and promote not only our Club, but accessible sailing; we need lot's of volunteers. Please email info@disabledsailingontario.c.om and let us know your availability during this time. The boat show hours are 11am-7pm Mon-Fri and 10am-6pm on Sat/Sun.
Perks are that when you volunteer to look after the booth for 1/2 a day; you also have a free ticket to the show!
