Confidence in later life isn’t about having yourself all figured out.
It often comes from accepting that you can be many things at once: strong and uncertain, grateful and grieving, wise and still learning.
There is peace in no longer needing to simplify yourself for others.
What does confidence mean to you at this stage of life?

Adults over the age of 75 have the highest su***de rate of any age group.
It’s a reality that often goes unspoken.
But awareness matters. It helps us pay attention, check in, and create more opportunities for support and connection.
Who might need a check-in today? ✹

Aging with purpose looks like David Suzuki.
Even in his 80s, after stepping back from The Nature of Things, he continues to write, speak, and advocate for the planet - choosing where his voice can make the most impact.
Aging doesn’t mean stepping away. It can mean showing up with more clarity, intention, and purpose than ever before.
What’s something you feel more intentional about as you get older? 🌿

Many older adults are navigating mental health challenges quietly, without the support they deserve.
Barriers still exist, whether it’s stigma, access, or simply not being asked the right questions.
Bringing awareness is one step toward change. What feels most important to address?

Motherhood does not stay the same across a lifetime.
In later life, it can become less about constant care and more about presence, perspective, acceptance, and witnessing who your children have become.
It can also be a time to return to yourself - to your needs, your identity, and the parts of you that may have been set aside during the most demanding years of parenting.
This Mother’s Day, I hope we make space to honour the full arc of motherhood, including the wisdom, complexity, and richness of later life.
Share this with a mother, grandmother, or mother figure whose role in your life continues to evolve with time.

Every decade brings something new with it, not just years, but perspective.
Skills sharpen. Boundaries strengthen. Confidence deepens.
The tools change, but so does how you use them. The key is being willing to notice, and trust, what you’ve gained along the way đŸŒ±

Wisdom doesn’t arrive automatically with age.
It comes from reflection. From noticing patterns. From questioning old assumptions. From taking what I’ve been through and asking, “What did this teach me?”
Aging gives me more life experience, but reflection is what helps turn that experience into wisdom.
What experience has taught you something valuable?

Making peace with an aging body doesn’t mean you have to love every change. It means learning how to relate to those changes with more compassion, less resistance, and a little more curiosity.
In this reel, I share 3 managable ways to begin reshaping your thoughts and creating a gentler relationship with the body you’re aging in.
đŸŒ±Which one feels most helpful to you right now?

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental health in later life is layered.
Grief, purpose, identity, change, all shaping how we experience the world.
Supporting older adults means recognizing the full picture, not just the symptoms.

It’s not just about what could go wrong. It’s also about what you’ve already made it through đŸŒ±âœš
Our minds can amplify risk, but they can overlook resilience. With age comes not only awareness, but strength, perspective, and the ability to adapt.
đŸ§˜đŸ» Take a moment to reflect: what have you already handled that once felt impossible?

Autonomy is a fundamental human need.
Older adults with greater ability to make their own choices experience lower rates of depression and cognitive decline, and higher life satisfaction.
Having a say in your own life matters.
