FRIDAY PRAYERS-NEW SCHEDULE: - We will have 3 FRIDAY prayers at 20 Overlea Building from Friday August 14th, 2020. First @ 1:45, Second @ 2:40, and Third @ 3:30. (NO FRIDAY PAYERS AT 4 Thorncliffe) Make Wudhu at home. No wudhu and washroom facility available. Bring your own prayer mat and face mask. Must wear face mask at all times while in the Masjid Property. (Entry will be denied without face mask). NO registrations required. Everyone welcome on first come first serve basis. (Please follow all guidelines posted on IST website, when you come to Masjid) It is of great importance for all of our congregants to follow the IST guidelines and instructions of our volunteers when coming to Masjid, in order that we may continue to keep the house of Allah open. Path to Piety 2019- Ilm Workshops

Day 1

We will be covering the forty Hadith collection of Imam Nawawi R.A. This collection of Hadith has been accepted and appreciated by scholars for over 7 centuries. This collection covers the fundamentals of Islam which will construct the minimum level of required revealed knowledge for every believer. This workshop will be conducted by Sh. Ebrahim I Bham, the Secretary General of the Jamiatul Ulema, South Africa

Day 2

We will be having an interactive workshop on "Addictions and Mental Health" The workshop will essentially be a guide to understanding addictions from an Islamic and psychological perspective. We will be discussing

-the definition of addictions
-theory behind why people become addicted
- what factors put youth at risk of substance misuse
- protective factors, and treatment options

This program will be conducted by Khalil Center Canada

Both workshops are free, and open to brothers and sisters. Not to be missed

Insha Allah, tomorrow, Friday, December 21, 2018,there will be a special program for youngsters at Masjid Darul Salam after Salatul Isha @ 8:00pm.

*A guest scholar will be speaking*

Please attend and bring your friends as well.

Food will be served after the program.

Note: This program is not to be confused with the Madrasah Faizul Qur'an evening Madrasah Jalsa which will take place at 5:45pm.

Madīnah Masjid is hosting the Healing Hearts program this weekend* in which great luminaries, like M***i Ahmed Sāhib Khānpūrī, will be participating to enlighten us with their spirituality and words of wisdom. Indeed this is a great opportunity for everyone to revive their Īmān and spirituality. Therefore, the weekly Youth Program that takes place at Masjid Dārus Salām every Friday has been cancelled this week and transportation has been arranged to attend this blessed and auspicious program. InshāAllāh the bus will leave from Masjid Dārus Salām after Ishā Salāh (8:00 p.m.) and will return back upon the completion of Friday's final session.
Everyone is requested to attend this blessed program and also invite their friends and family.
