Alchemy.

Not everything that feels urgent is true
Not every thought deserves a throne

Some moments ask us not to fix,
but to soften
Not to search,
but to stay

Alchemy is knowing when the mind is louder than wisdom
When fear is dressed up as care
When trust is the bravest choice

Stillness is also an answer
Sometimes, the truest one…

When we deny ourselves what we love, we don’t become better, we just lose touch
The body knows what helps it settle, what brings it back into itself
Listening to that isn’t indulgence. It’s how things start moving again

starting this year by returning to my roots
To ancestral land
To being in the space without needing to explain it or extract meaning from it
There’s something about being here that doesn’t ask for constant reflection (*phew*)
it just asks you to arrive

Being present feels harder than it should these days
There’s so much noise, so much commentary
But when you return to land and people who’ve held on to rhythm and restraint,
you naturally slow down
You receive, without trying

That’s where alchemy (word of the year) lives
Not in forcing change, but in letting what restores work quietly
So when energy moves back into the world, it’s clean
It knows where to go

Alchemy ✨ Word of the Year 2026 ✨

This word brings me closer to divinity…
as if something unseen has been quietly supporting me,
as if a portal opened this year and I finally chose to step through it 🌘

If I truly embrace alchemy in daily life,
then life itself becomes a sacred practice…
the ordinary dissolving into the extraordinary
simply because I believe in the liminal, the ethereal, 🌳
and I refuse to confine myself
to what is only visible or tangible in the earthly realm 🌍

I find myself searching
for what happens after we leave this body,
for the truth of my soul contract,
for what I am really here to do ⚡️

I was once told by a psychic
that my purpose is simple:
to live, to receive, to taste the pleasures of being alive
And I believe that
That joy, presence, and embodiment
are not indulgences but offerings 🌷

Perhaps my alchemy is this…
to fully inhabit this life,
to let wonder move through me,
and in doing so,
to quietly and continuously transmute it into something for the highest good 💕

Best wishes to all of us - may 2026 return the magic we never truly lost

That line has been sitting with me as I close out 2025.

My word for the year was Golden, and I didn’t fully understand it when I claimed it. Golden wasn’t about shining—it was about expanding. It quietly asked me to live from a larger field, to stop making myself small, and to let what no longer resonates fall away without resistance.

This year, Golden looked like:
• seeing things for what they truly were
• relationships shifting into their right size
• choosing aliveness over familiarity
• trusting what opened, not chasing what closed

And there was one experience…visible to others but lived internally in a different register that changed the scale of everything. From that moment forward, clarity wasn’t something I searched for; it arrived like light. Immediate. Grounded. Impossible to ignore. A direct encounter with the divine

Golden didn’t demand emotion.

It asked for coherence.
It asked for alignment.
It asked for spacious truth.

Golden has done its work.
What comes next will meet me where I am.

Nothing small can stay here. Everything that is ready is rising.

My Word of the Year 2025 — Golden — is still very much alive within me 💘

It’s been a year of illumination, warmth, and soft radiance… but lately, something deeper has begun to stir.
Not as an ending, not as a beginning — just a quiet shift beneath the surface 🌱

A pulse. A hum. A whisper reminding me that transformation doesn’t ask for permission — it simply begins 👇

And sometimes the sacred feels a little wild, a little untamed… a little unholy 🔥

It’s the eve of Diwali — a night when light, warmth, and meaning fill the air 🌙

As I sit in the soft glow of the diyas, I find myself reflecting on the word that’s been guiding me this year: Golden

For me, Golden isn’t just about brightness — it’s about the quiet radiance that comes from within. It’s about wisdom, softness, and choosing to shine gently instead of loudly. It’s the warmth of self-trust, the light of truth, and the glow that remains even when everything else fades

Diwali feels like the perfect time to remember that light isn’t something we chase — it’s something we tend to, nurture, and protect

So, in this luminous space, I’m asking you:

✨ What’s your word of the year — the one that’s been lighting your path or whispering guidance to you lately?

May we all find our golden glow, in whatever form it takes 🪔💛

✨ No birthday is complete without a selfie ✨
Yesterday I crossed into 52, as the cosmos itself shifted…the equinox, the eclipse 🌘 , and now the sacred days of Navratri, leading us toward the lights of Diwali

These seasons remind us that we are not separate from nature, but deeply woven into her rhythms. Just as the earth turns, we too are invited to turn- to rest, to awaken, to celebrate, to renew. To live cyclically is to remember that each phase carries its own wisdom, each season its own offering.

Stepping into another year of life in this alignment feels like a blessing, and my prayer is that we may all walk with the seasons 🌱 honoring the sacred cycles that guide us back to wholeness 🙏🙏🙏

2025 has been a year of dualities for me…a year of deep grief, tender loss, and profound reflection. Emotions have surface that I didn’t even know were waiting. I’ve felt the fragility of life, the rawness of love, and the weight of mortality in ways that leave you both stunned and awake.

And yet, there’s been gold this year too. Moments that spark joy so bright they feel like sunlight on the skin. Like Greece with my sons, a trip that was alive in every sense of the word. A “carpe diem” moment that reminded me how fleeting and precious these days are.

My word for 2025 is Golden, - it feels like a compass through these contrasts. Golden isn’t just about light or joy ✨it’s about embracing the full spectrum: grief and beauty, sorrow and wonder, endings and beginnings. It’s about learning that life, in all its unpredictability, is meant to be lived fully, fiercely, tenderly.

Here’s to holding both the shadows and the brilliance, and to finding the glimmers of gold that remind us we are alive, awake, and ever unfolding.

Lately I’ve been sitting with my word for the year, Golden. To me, it’s not just about light and radiance, but also about the dualities that coexist:
✨In the face of mortality, we see the shimmer of how precious life is.
✨In endings, we notice the quiet beginnings unfolding.
✨In the heaviness of grief, there’s often a thread of beauty woven through.
✨In the ordinary, we stumble upon the extraordinary.
✨In holding loss, we learn how to hold love more fiercely.

To live Golden is to notice both, the shadows and the light, the ache and the awe, and to let astonishment move us into gratitude, even when life feels unbearably fragile. 🌿.

A word of the year is more than an intention—it’s a soul companion. It walks beside me when I forget who I am, when I drift from my values, when the noise of the world grows louder than my own inner voice ✨

This one word softens the edges of the year and reminds me to live from my centre. It rewires my mind, yes, but more than that, it reawakens my spirit. Each time I lose my way, it whispers me back home 💖

I’ve come to see this practice as sacred, like setting a rhythm for the year that my heart can keep returning to ☀️

My word for 2025 is Golden — not because everything is perfect, but because I’m choosing to see the radiance within it all.

Golden is a mindset.
Golden is coming home to myself.
Golden is trusting that who I am—flawed, healing, evolving—worthy of reverence.

Frida said, “I am my own muse. I am the subject I know best. The subject I want to know better.”

This year, I honour the muse within.
I polish my own light.
I move through the world not to impress, but to glow. ✨

Self Care & Connection

My work as a Women’s Coach is holistic and draws from what I’ve learned in over 20 years as an Occupational Therapist. It comes from a place of wanting to empower women in their journey towards making choices that support wellness.

What I realized as an Occupational Therapist was the need to harness the power of prevention to influence physical and mental health for the better. Connection and self care are important preventative measures. They are the primary themes of my “girls night in” offering, Bindi Parlour, which feature opportunities for participants to engage in conversation that forges deeper bonds in a nurturing environment.

When was the last time you actually spent quality time with women who inspire, make you laugh and lift you up? Scientific research has proven that women need other women to thrive and to stay healthy. Let me help you build your tribe to live your best life going forward.

On a personal note though, my favourite way to spend time is by engaging in Morning Rituals-my number #1 tool for success AND it’s fun! The most important relationship you’ll ever have in this lifetime is the relationship with yourself. Make it sacred and make it a priority-before it’s too late.
