Bringing creativity into my spiritual practice changed everything for me.

When I started using art, writing, and music as tools for spirit communication, I stopped trying to force myself into cookie cutter practices and started building evidence.

Evidence that my spirit guides were real.
Evidence that I could connect.
Evidence that my self-doubt didn’t get the final say.

That shift from blind faith to tangible proof is why I created The Spirit Studio, a monthly creative circle for connecting with your guides without forcing meditation.

As a kid, I used to struggle with feeling this gut wrenching, soul-deep loneliness that never left...until I started connecting with my Spirit team.

Growing up and into adulthood, just knowing my guides were there with me helped me walk through some of the deepest pits of depression/autistic burnout and navigate the darkest nights of my soul.

It wasn't that they could magically fix my life, but tuning into their energy reminded me that I wasn't truly alone.

Learning I was autistic helped me understand something huge:

My struggles were never personal actually failures. I just needed compassion, clarity, and support that matched the way my brain works.

I spent years pushing myself past every limit I had, thinking it was just “being responsible,” when really, I was masking and burning myself out trying to keep up.

And the whole time, I assumed my intuition was getting weaker.

But the moment I finally let myself rest, something opened.

My connection to my guides grew stronger, softer, closer, like they’d been patiently waiting for me to stop running on fumes long enough to hear them.

Here’s what I wish someone told me sooner:

Your guides know your true self, even when you don’t.
They don’t need you to be unmasked, healed, or “on.”

I used to think walking away from a spiritual space meant that I was giving up on my growth and that if something felt off, it was just “resistance.”

But the truth is, not every space is meant to hold you.

When a teacher’s words started to feel manipulative instead of expansive, I noticed my whole body tense.

That was my intuition, quietly saying: “You don’t have to earn your healing.”

So I listened.

I left.

And for the first time, I didn’t abandon myself to belong.
