I’m a registered social worker in private practice who wants to help you talk about your death and dying concerns. I am keen for the general population to feel more at ease around the topic of death and dying. I have more than 20 years experience providing counselling and social work conversations and discussions with individuals and family members. I am knowledgeable about Toronto’s palliative care hospital and home care services, as well as hospices and long-term care facilities. I help families discuss difficult topics together and complete Advance Care Directives and end of life wishes. I am an excellent problem solver and can help you listen to your heart and figure out what the next step is. Learn how to make well thought out decisions for end of life care. Clients tell me I am open, direct, positive, empathic, and fearless about talking about death and dying in ways that they have never experienced with any other grief counsellor. I’ve never felt more alive than I was on every step of the 800 km pilgrimage of Camino de Santiago. My Camino Family gave me a surreal and timeless community of Love and Acceptance. The simple joy of walking, eating, and sleeping. Nothing else. No shopping. No outside needs. Living outside. Just one step after another on the most beautiful path to the Santiago Cathedral. Lead a meditation retreat in the Sian Ka’an UNESCO Biosphere in Tulum, Mexico. The people, waves, and wildlife were stunning but the plastic swept up on the beach was heartbreaking. We cleaned up bags everyday, but more kept coming. I’m doubling down on my anti-plastic campaign. I’ve started a jar of colourful plastic lids I’m saving to make into my own mural and educational art piece. Don’t buy anything special for me, but please share any plastic lids of any colour that you have. And join in me figuring out the best ways to get our planet to change their addiction to plastic. ❤️🌊❤️

Last Saturday the universe lost this bright, radiant light - my dear meditation teacher, Qapel AKA Doug Duncan died suddenly. Feeling a bit unmoored by the hole his passing has left for me after 30 long, beautiful years together. ❤️🔥🙏🏼🌈❤️
