Mammals and milk remedies are such a significant part of homeopathic practice...or at least they should be! And yet, for many practitioners, Lac remedies remain underused or difficult to fully grasp. Since the pioneering work of Nancy Herrick and others, this group has expanded into a rich and clinically important area of Materia Medica, with deep relevance across cases involving attachment and trauma, infertility, chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and more.

Join Joy Burlton for a full-day seminar designed to bring clarity, structure, and confidence to this essential group of remedies. Through a thematic and clinically grounded approach, you’ll explore the core patterns of Lac remedies and the mammal kingdom, understand subgroups such as canids and felidae, and learn how to recognize and differentiate remedies beyond keynotes. With the support of clinical cases, comparisons, and accumulated insights, this day will help you move beyond uncertainty and begin prescribing these remedies with greater ease and precision in practice.

Acute cases are where many homeopaths feel the most pressure - symptoms shift quickly, timelines are tight, and prescribing needs to be both accurate and confident. This full-day lecture with Inna Dolgopolsky is designed to bring structure and clarity to that process, helping you move beyond guesswork and into a more grounded, clinically reliable approach. You’ll learn how to assess acute conditions through pathophysiology, recognize meaningful symptom patterns, and translate what you’re seeing into precise, effective prescriptions.

Together, you’ll work through a wide range of acute presentations, from fever and respiratory conditions to GI complaints, UTIs, and more - while sharpening your ability to ask the right questions, identify key modalities and concomitants, and recognize stages of disease progression. Materia Medica will be explored in a practical, clinically relevant way, making remedies easier to identify and apply in real-life situations. This is a day focused on building confidence, deepening understanding, and strengthening your ability to manage acute cases with clarity and precision in everyday practice.

Easter weekend often brings indulgence—rich meals, extra sweets, and a break from routine. While it’s meant to be enjoyed, your body might be feeling the effects after:

Bloating or sluggish digestion
Nausea or fullness
Irritability or fatigue
Headaches from sugar or overeating

Homeopathy can gently support your system as it rebalances and recovers—without suppressing what your body is trying to process.

✨ Here are a few remedies to consider:

Nux Vomica (overeating, rich foods, irritability)

Classic remedy after overindulgence
Bloating, nausea, or constipation
Sensitive, irritable, easily overstimulated
Feels worse from excess food, alcohol, or sugar

Pulsatilla (rich, fatty foods + emotional sensitivity)

Digestive upset after creamy or heavy meals
Nausea, fullness, no thirst
May feel weepy, sensitive, wanting comfort
Often better in fresh air

Carbo Vegetabilis (bloating, gas, sluggish digestion)

Extreme bloating or fullness
Gassy, heavy feeling after eating
Low energy, may feel better with fresh air
“Food just sits there” feeling

Antimonium Crudum (overindulgence, especially sweets)

White-coated tongue
Nausea after overeating or too many treats
Irritability, especially if looked at or bothered
Common in children after too much sugar

🌿 A gentle reminder:
Even after overindulging, your body is always working to restore balance. Homeopathy supports this process by meeting your system where it’s at—based on your individual response, not just what you ate.

✨ Sometimes the best support is also simple: rest, hydration, and giving your body space to reset.

Spring is a beautiful season but for many children, it can also bring a wave of sensitivities as their systems adjust to shifting weather, pollen, and more time outdoors.

You may notice:

Runny noses & sneezing
Watery or irritated eyes
Lingering colds
Earaches
Changes in sleep, mood, or energy

Homeopathy offers a gentle, non-invasive way to support children, working with their bodies as they adapt to seasonal changes—rather than suppressing symptoms.

These remedies are just a starting point. In homeopathy, treatment is always individualized—based not only on the condition, but on how your child experiences it.

Their mood, energy, sensitivities, and what makes symptoms better or worse all guide the remedy choice.

Two children with the same illness may need completely different remedies to truly support healing.
