VISION:
Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine (OCHM) is the pioneer and leader in innovative healthcare education. It is the reputation, the faculty, the resources and the atmosphere of the college that are making a difference. These differences set us apart from all other colleges offering healthcare education. These differences that will set you apart from students of all other colleges. Studies continue to show the general public’s growing interest, acceptance and reliance on complementary therapies. We made it our vision to be a center for Homeopathic Education, developing individuals into practitioners who have an inherent desire to share their healing efforts as part of tomorrow’s mainstream health care community. That vision has evolved into a commitment of excellence. OCHM is continually setting the standards to ensure its students enter the market place with the confidence and skills they need to immediately make a difference in practice.

The Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine is thrilled to host Dr. Massimo Mangialavori for a full-day live online seminar:

Religiosity, Spiritual Suffering, and Meaning in Homeopathic Practice

Religious and spiritual expressions appear in homeopathic cases far more often than is commonly acknowledged. Experiences such as guilt, fear of punishment, devotion, superstition, prayer, despair, and the search for transcendence may surface clearly—or remain quietly embedded within a case. These expressions are often misunderstood or overlooked, not because they lack clinical importance, but because they touch deeply personal and existential dimensions of suffering.

This seminar approaches religiosity neither as belief nor doctrine, but as a clinical expression—a way individuals experience and respond to illness, vulnerability, fear, and uncertainty. Drawing from materia medica, repertory, and decades of clinical experience, Dr. Mangialavori explores how these themes emerge across remedy families and how recognizing them can support clearer prescribing and more stable, long-term outcomes.

This is not a seminar about belief systems. It is a seminar about how suffering, meaning, and vulnerability are expressed through illness—and how homeopathy can meet these expressions with depth, clarity, and discernment.

Registration:
Early Bird: $150
Regular: $175

📢LAST DAY TO REGISTER📢

It has now been five years since COVID-19 first reshaped our world. While the acute crisis has passed, its deeper effects continue to influence health, susceptibility, and vitality on both individual and collective levels.

In this full-day webinar, Joy Burlton will offer a comprehensive exploration of how these long-term shifts are showing up in clinical practice — and how practitioners can more effectively support patients navigating both acute and chronic COVID-related states.

This immersive session will include:
• How the early disease state created lingering ripples still seen today
• Current presentations of long COVID: brain fog, bleeding issues, hormonal changes, hair loss, and other evolving patterns
• The leading remedies emerging as most reliable in practice
• How susceptibility and miasmatic background shape individual expression
• What acute COVID looks like now — and how these newer symptom pictures are being identified
• The emotional, physical, and pharmaceutical suppression of the last five years and its impact on disease expression
• Practical, clinical approaches to unblock the vital force and restore coherence so healing can move in its natural direction

Through clinical observation, miasmatic insight, and case-based learning, Joy will guide participants with clarity, depth, and wisdom — offering grounded tools for navigating this shifting terrain.

Date & Time: Saturday, December 13th, 2025 — 9am to 5pm ET
Hosted by: Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine
Registration: ochm.ca/lectures_covid/

We look forward to welcoming you to this important and timely session.
