We Walk UHNITED is just three days away, and this inspiring article is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do ❤️🔗💛

It features our HeartLinks member and volunteer Michelle, a resilient 2x heart transplant recipient who has overcome so much. She’s walking to give back and pay it forward, and so are we!

The article also shares Nathalie’s story, a congenital heart patient and heart transplant recipient who understands the physical and emotional challenges that come with a transplant. As a dedicated HeartLinks member and volunteer, she finds strength in connecting with others who’ve been through similar journeys, and she walks to support UHN’s continued care, research, and innovation 💚

Together, HeartLinks walks to support the incredible hospitals that gave us a second chance, and to honour the donors and their families who made that chance possible.
