I was just reading an article about Japanese wisdom and wellness. It was really good!

It mentioned the principle of Kaizen which suggests simple and small changes VS dramatic changes...

I'm a fan of simple and small changes in the kitchen. They give me more time and joy in the day 🌀️

A favourite kitchen hack is using my slow cooker once or twice a week. I find a simple recipe, leave a note or send an email to my family letting them know what I'm planning and then just pop all the ingredients in...win/win for everyone

Thanks to the moms (and dad's) who supported my January workshop! I know all of you are working hard, navigating ups and downs, but also unravelling ideas and bringing them slowly to life one day at a time. I Iook forward to sharing more transformation and design tools with you πŸ™‚

For my ladies!:

Let's focus on happy days πŸ™‚

Creating new schedules
Re-setting and putting on your artist shoes

Things to think about:
What are you going to try in your morning routine?
When are you going to work on your business, project or homework?
Where are you going to work or study?
Who are you going to hang out with more?
How are you going to manage meals better?

Start success planning. There is opportunity everywhere.

Hi, wanted to say thank you to the new followers this month. I'm excited to see your awesome profiles and pages and look forward to seeing more posts! πŸ™‚

I had some inspiration this week! It’s my nephews birthday today….January 11th.

I have an amazing book reference I bought 10 years ago after a Chiropractor friend and Mentor referred it to me. It's quite accurate and it's helped me appreciate people at a whole different level. The good and the bad!

95-98% of children UNDER 5 are listed at or above the 'creative genius' level

25-30% of children who are 10 years old test at the creative genius level

10-12% of children who are 15 years old are at this level

2% of adults are categorized as creative geniuses.

Here are 3 ways we can support creative genius and physical and mental wellbeing:

#1. Free Time Tool. Time when a child must find something to do on their own. Boredom can be solved with creativity and creativity can keep boredom from coming back.

#2. Allow for creative spaces, some mess and craziness. Research has found that slightly disorganized spaces are associated with increased creativity. Pick a room or two in your house with a creative vibe where the best markers, papers and designs can be found.

#3. Movement and Music. Strong evidence supports that movement and music fosters creativity. Walks, Gyms, Yoga, Nia, Dancing and Sports supports creativity - being stagnant does not. For my yoga stretch and meditation workshop details DM 'ignite wellness' in the comments and I can send you ALL the details. You'll be so glad you did πŸ™‚

So creativity includes a range of skills and behaviours that are often present in abundance in the younger years and we get to foster and support it! I'm your supporter & in your corner every step of the way πŸ’ž

When my kids were little I was dealt a pretty big problem

My friend and teacher at the time invited me to a Tao Science workshop. I went and went and learned about Ancient Chinese Medicine

I had always loved holistic teachings, but these lectures and seminars taught me more about energy and how it works

Today I learned that 2026 is the year of the Fire Horse!

It begins on February 17th, 2026. It's expected to be quite a year with sweeping and rapid developments and big pushes for liberation and innovation.

For children in general we can expect:

#1. high energy, more activity, enthusiasm
#2. transformations, breaks in patterns, new opportunities
#3. more courage and the ability to overcome fears
#4. a need for more balance as FIRE energy is intense and does require the WATER element (calmness) for balance (nature and routines will also help with grounding).

Cheers to 2026!

With love,
Tracy

She said she was done.

Her daughter wasn't listening, she was being disrespectful AND she wouldn't brush her hair

I wondered what was going on in her life, but I didn't ask because honestly I believed she was capable of handling whatever had been dealt her way, but my job is to support

Well I have some experience with very thick, challenging, curly hair!

Here are 6 thoughts:

#1. Try a different brush. Let her buy one she likes.

#2. Ask someone for help. If you're stressed, upset or angry about something, someone or a situation use resources like grandparents, nannies, babysitters, hair salons and they can help and teach your children stuff while you take a break or work through what you're working through

#3. Think about what she likes. Does she like ice cream or a special show? Can you do her hair while she has dessert or watches her show?

#4. Think about what you like. Do you like braiding hair or nail salons? Can you try turning the hair brushing nightmare into a little spa hour?

#5. Consider kids love languages. Quality Time, Touch, Gifts, Affirmations, Acts of Kindness. Which does she appreciate most? Do more of what she appreciates and cool stuff happens

#6. Take long patient breaths because let's face it, good hair takes time πŸ˜€

Weekly Challenge ‡️

Week of December 21st:

> Tell at least one child a story this season to boost their self-esteem.

Stories have been used by Kids Coaches, Teachers and Caregivers for decades to help children learn, heal and grow...

Try telling a story about when you were a child in a similar situation or if you don't have a story that they might resonate with you could maybe get one from a friend?

I really helped someone yesterday by sharing a story with them so I wanted to share this template with you today in hopes that you would be inspired to do the same πŸ™Œ Final thought, some kids love visuals and some love a little humour too. Go!
