Tomorrow is the final day to apply for our part-time, on-call Funeral Director’s Assistant posting ⏰
This role is an essential part of the experience we provide to families and every interaction truly matters.
You are often one of the first points of contact during a deeply difficult time in a family’s life, and the way you show up makes all the difference.
What We’re Looking For:
💜 A calm, steady presence in sensitive and emotional situations
💜 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
💜 A natural ability to demonstrate care, kindness, and empathy
💜 Physical ability to lift and move, with full mobility required
Applicants must have:
✅ A valid, unrestricted G-class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
✅ Reliable transportation to and from the funeral home
✅ Availability to work on-call evenings, nights, and occasional daytime hours
No prior experience in the funeral profession is required - training will be provided.
Experience in healthcare, customer service, or a related field is considered an asset.
