We are actively seeking Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to become part of our expanding team in Belleville. Our facility will soon accommodate 160 beds in long-term care.

Back in the Spring we planted beautiful flowers and a herb garden at The Riverine. We were excited to watch them grow and are now putting our herbs put to use!

A Strawberry Social is a traditional community gathering that typically features fresh strawberries we look forward to this every year. This year, at Crown Ridge Retirement Residence, we got our delicious berries from Lakeshore Farms. They were so juicy! The Strawberry short cakes with whipped cream and music with Andy Forgie made for a great afternoon.

Residents at Crown Ridge Place Residents enjoyed National Bikini day earlier this month by designing their own custom Swimwear as well as engaging in a fashion show where they got to pick their favourite bikini and show it off!

We kicked off the summer in June with a fantastic party here at The Riverine. Great music, delicious treats and friendships made during this wonderful afternoon. We continue to enjoy the warm weather season with lots of activities inside and out!

All our residences celebrated Canada Day this year, and it may have been a competition for who had the best time! Crown Ridge Retirement Residence thinks they did 🥳 They celebrated the beauty, and history of our great country! They enjoyed delicious treats and toe tapping good music with Jay Middleton. It was an amazing day filled with laughter, music, food, and of course, there is nothing like celebrating with family and friends.

The residents and staff at Westgate Lodge also enjoyed a fun filled Canada Day together! Always nice to showcase our colours and pride of our country as well as enjoy a fun day with family and friends!

Last month, celebrating our special Father’s here at The Riverine was a true honour. Listening to them reminisce about wonderful moments with their own Father’s and memories with their own children was truly remarkable. At Crown Ridge Health Care Services, our slogan is: We believe in Family...Welcome to Ours.
At all of our residences, family is the most important thing. There are fewer remaining family owned and operated retirement and long-term care residences in Eastern Ontario. We are proud to still be part of this community of family owned and run businesses.

Residents at Crown Ridge Place enjoyed a heartfelt and joyous Canada Day Celebration. The afternoon filled with cheerful red-and-white outfits and accessories, fun photos with our Canadian Flag, and delicious treats! The real joy was spending time together celebrating friendships and our beautiful country!

After over 30 incredible years of service at Westgate Lodge in Belleville, we are sad to say goodbye to Heather as she begins her well-deserved retirement.

Thank you, Heather, for your hard work, kindness, and dedication through the years. You’ve touched so many lives and made a lasting impact on everyone here.
