Happy St. Patrick's Day! Trenton VON Adult Day has been very lucky these past couple weeks celebrating St. Patrick's Day with all of our clients in one way or another.
We had a gold coin count with 2 winners, a day of painting ☘️, drinking some green "beer," eating cupcakes, playing St. Patty's bingo and tons of active St. Patrick's Day games. We hope everyone has a safe and fun St. Patrick's Day!

Hello, my name is Geri and I have been volunteering with the VON Meals on Wheels program since 2014 when I retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 41 years of service.
A very dear friend of mine was already volunteering within VON in the administrative area, but after being an administrator for my entire military life, I wanted something different. I started delivering hot meals shortly thereafter then decided to try out delivering frozen meals. I enjoy volunteering with Meals on Wheels because someday it might be me who needs the service. The clients are generally very happy to see me as I try to spend at least a couple of minutes with them as I deliver. Who knows, maybe I was the only face they saw that particular day. At the end of the day, it makes me feel good and useful as well!! 💙
