Pour financer ses activités, le WCCS de l’UQTR fait la vente de billet pour obtenir certains prix.
Le premier prix est un forfait cadeau à l’auberge Godefroy pour deux personnes d’une valeur de 500$. Les inclusions du forfaits se retrouvent sur la deuxième page.
Le deuxième et troisième prix sont les livres Anatomy Workbook et Orthopedics Conditions.

Pour participer au tirage, il faut acheter des billets en communiquant à un membre du WCCS le nombre de billets demandés et d’effectuer le virement au uqtr@wccsworldwide.org avec la réponse chiro. Le tirage s’effectuera le 5 mai 2024.

Dr. Héroux is a chiropractor who graduated from the Université de Trois-Rivières (UQTR) in the province of Quebec, Canada. A graduate of the International College of Applied Kinesiology (DIBAK) in 2005, Dr. Héroux has been teaching Professional Applied Kinesiology (PAK) since 2006 in Quebec and France. He has had the privilege of teaching in the United States and Colombia and has been invited to speak at several international conferences. Since he began teaching, Quebec now boasts 19 graduates in Applied Kinesiology (DIBAK), with many more to come around the world.
Dedicated to helping patients and professionals alike, Charles continues to learn every day. From his perspective, Chiropractic, Applied Kinesiology and Lifestyle Management represent an excellent combination for optimizing patient health. Having a practice with complex cases, Dr. Héroux quickly became aware of the combined effects of lifestyle habits on patient health.

In 2019, he founded Formations AK with his colleague Dr Frédéric Rancourt (chiropractor and DIBAK). Together, they set up an online teaching platform designed to educate healthcare professionals. Since then, they have taught hundreds of hours of online training with a system that offers professional audio-visual quality. They recently moved into new premises in the Triade Santé clinic. With a state-of-the-art film studio and broadcast rooms, this will enable them to implement a new hybrid education model for their training courses.

Together with his wife Karoline, also a chiropractor and DIBAK, they have been founders and owners of the Triade Santé clinic since 2004. The clinic currently has 6 chiropractors (4 with DIBAK), a psychologist, a massage therapist, and an acupuncturist.

Charles enjoys teaching about the impact of lifestyle habits and their effects on overall well-being. His main mission is to help his patients and students discover their full potential.

Dr. Freud, DC holds a Bachelor of Science (High Distinction) in Anatomy and Psychology from McGill University, a Doctorate of Chiropractic (High Distinction) from Parker University in Dallas, Texas, and a Diploma in Chiropractic Neurology (High Distinction) from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

In 2007, Dr. Freud, DC achieved Diplomate status from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB) and became one of the first Canadian chiropractors to hold this certification. He has since completed training in Functional Neurology at the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies for the treatment of concussions, vestibular conditions, movement disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders. He has been an examiner for the ACNB and has also helped establish educational programs in Chiropractic Neurology in Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. In addition to being in private practice since 1996, Dr. Freud has been Assistant Professor of Anatomy at McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine since 1999. He has been delivering Adjusting the Brain lectures internationally since 2010 on concussion management and the application of functional neurology.

All Americas WCCS chapter are invited to the annual regional event (ARE) that will be held in Trois-Rivières from march 22nd to 24th. We are planning conferences, activities and more. 🍁❄️

Cette année pour le world spine day, vient bouger avec nous !
Le WCCS de l'UQTR propose le 16 octobre 3 activités pour tous.

Viens-te réveiller tranquillement et te préparer à affronter ta journée en participant au cours de yoga.

Prend ta traditionnelle photo avec la colonne sur l'heure du diner pour montrer à matante et mononcle dans tes futurs partys de famille.

Défoule-toi et dépense ton reste d'énergie en fin de journée avec une séance de zumba.

En plus, avec le carnaval bouger te donne des points!!!

On the first night, delegates will have the chance to get to know each other at the welcoming event that will take place at La Maison de Débauche! Food and drinks will be part of the night 🫶 The restaurant is located near the hotel (walking distance).

En: Dr. Dean Wright has served as the Chief Executive Officer at the Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association (CCPA) since January 2020, prior to this he was the Executive Claims Officer. Dr. Wright is responsible for overseeing the complex day-to-day operations of CCPA. He also leads a team of chiropractors, lawyers and experts who manage malpractice claims for CCPA members. He has presented extensively in Canada on risk mitigation in practice.

Prior to joining CCPA, Dr. Wright was a practicing chiropractor for 25 years in Newmarket, Ontario in a multi practitioner clinic he owned. He is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and the University of Guelph.

He has served on several boards and councils, including the Ontario Chiropractic Association (President 2003-05), the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board (Chair 2010-12), CMCC Research and Ethics Board, the Canadian Chiropractic Guidelines Task Force and CMCC Student Council (President 1988).

Fr: Le Dr Dean Wright est directeur général de l'Association chiropratique canadienne de protection (CCPA) depuis janvier 2020, avant il occupait le poste d'agent exécutif des réclamations. Le Dr Wright est chargé de superviser les opérations quotidiennes complexes du CCPA. Il dirige également une équipe de chiropraticiens, d'avocats et d'experts qui gèrent les demandes d'indemnisation pour faute professionnelle pour les membres du CCPA. Il a fait de nombreuses présentations au Canada sur l'atténuation des risques dans la pratique.

Avant de rejoindre le CCPA, le Dr Wright a pratiqué la chiropratique pendant 25 ans à Newmarket, en Ontario, dans une clinique multi-praticienne dont il était propriétaire. Il est diplômé du Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College et de l'Université de Guelph.

Il a siégé à plusieurs conseils d'administration, notamment à l'Association chiropratique de l'Ontario (président 2003-2005), au Bureau canadien des examens chiropratiques (président 2010-2012), au Comité de recherche et d'éthique du CMCC, au Groupe de travail sur les lignes directrices chiropratiques canadiennes et au Conseil des étudiants du CMCC (président 1988).

EN: Speaker unveiling for the AGM 2023! Dr. Lemire received a Bachelor of Science degree (Kinesiology), Simon Fraser University, 1987. He is a 1991 CMCC graduate, attained Fellowship status from the College of Chiropractic Science (Canada) (1994), and a Master of Science degree (Orthopedic Surgery), Manager and Rehabilitation Coordinator, Quality Assurance Auditor for the Saskatchewan WCB, Chairperson for Saskatchewan WCB Multi-disciplinary Assessments and Independent Medical Evaluator. Since 2008, he teaches full time in the chiropractic department at the University du Québec à Trois-Rivières. FR: Dévoilement de conférencier pour l'AGM 2023! Dr. Lemire a obtenu un Baccalauréat en Sciences (Kinésiologie) de l'Université Simon Fraser en 1987. Il est diplômé du CMCC en 1991, a atteint le statut de Fellowship du Collège des Sciences Chiropratiques (Canada) en 1994 et a obtenu une Maîtrise en Sciences (Chirurgie Orthopédique). Il a travaillé en tant que Gestionnaire et Coordonnateur de Réadaptation, Auditeur de l'Assurance qualité pour la Saskatchewan WCB, Chairperson des Évaluations Multidisciplinaires et Évaluateur Médical Indépendant pour la Saskatchewan WCB. Depuis 2008, il enseigne à temps plein au département de chiropratique de l'Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
